I'm pretty sure the whole point is that YOU will die and disappear from this world, and your clone will not even come to the idea that he isn't the YOU that just stopped existing.

It's highly likely you'd have different opinions of what should happen considering the 'original' you would be expected to die and the current you would consider itself to be the only one the 'original' being a nightmare like consequence of teleportation malfunction.
