World building, lore you want to stick your head in
I don't like it.
Me neither. Shitty graphics (although the style is good), too much handholding, no pure stealth option, combat is more fun, shitty menus etc.
Found the niggers.
On a serious note: the only non-pure stealth thing is that once in the game you have to subdue a non-target to free a VIP.
Otherwise you can complete the entire game in complete stealth.
Also, the combat is not even remotely fun.
But there is pure stealth.
I played the entire game interacting with just the mission essential characters.
Everyone else I might've existed for them.
> no pure stealth option
There should be a button to fast forward the dialog
Going back to the rebel base after missions was pretty comfy
>Comfy
>subdue a non-target to free a VIP.
What part are you talking about ?
...
atmosphere is great. plan to replay it before the new one is out.
is there a difference in the definitive version? I have the normal game.
should I torrent the definitive and play through that?
Im replaying it now, the tone in Knife of Dunwall is fucking great, because you know the end is near
>no pure stealth option
>Shitty graphics
>shitty menus etc
Daud has a 2 part campaign and there is a trial DLC
i already have the normal game and all that dlc.
is there any fucking point to torrent the definitive version? I didn't ge ta clear answer from you anons
the preorder content? you just start off with 2 k more and a shit ton of bone charms
Yes.
Daud campaign is more satisfying, interesting and entertaining than the main campaign. Now calm the fuck down and stop DEMANDING help and advise you fucking cunt,
Watch your language. The definitive version is the rerelease for current gen consoles. The one on Steam is just the GOTY edition under a different name. No changes.
you stupid fuck, I already did the daud dlc. IM TALKING ABOUT THE DEFINITIVE VERSION OF THE GAME
dude, do you not get my question. im not tlaking about fucking preorders
thank you, I will leave bread now. all I fucking needed to know.
You have to use the magic blink, and the game is designed around it.
But the graphics are shitty, textures are low res, some models ugly and so on. Also the text in menus is too big and you can't scale it
>You have to use the magic blink, and the game is designed around it.
Yes you can, you can ignore blink if you have at least Agility 1.
Is there anywhere to get the game for less than 10 for th goty edition?
It's completely possible to complete the game without blink you silly user, it just reasonably makes it more challenging
If we're precise you need to use the blink in the dream sequence
Fair enough, I forgot about that but if you disregard the dream sequence which is virtually a tutorial for the power you can ignore blink for the rest of the game
>Shitty graphics (although the style is good)
if it looks good then why is that an issue?
graphics are a tool to make the game looks nice
if the game already looks nice, then it's done it's job
That's the tutorial you tit of course you need it there.
I can forgive low poly models with high res textures, but not high poly models with shitty res textures
the shitty res textures looked nice though
not imo
they do imo
Dishonored is amateur hour in narrative, controls, and gameplay compared to Hitman.
Or compared to literally any other good stealth game
...
I've played lots of stealth games and Dishonored isn't anywhere top of that list. It's a fun little game when you play as a wizard assassin, but I wouldn't even call it a stealth game then
Yes.
>you have to use the magic blink, and the game is designed around it.
starting with blink was a secondary move though. You can do the whole game but three minor phase (dream, waterlock, whaler's prison) without blink.
When you free Martin, the former Overseer. You have to dispose of the guard.
Should I get the Definitive Edition or wait for next promo, after D2 is released, because I feel like Bethesda is trying to jew with that discount tag.
Is it worth picking up again on PC? I played through it once on Xbox and I thought was pretty fun.
I'm not sure what you are asking, because it's a fucking simple concept that literally 4 anons are explaining to you
you don't need to use blink outside of the Dream sequence, you're just shit at the game
yes but Knife of Dunwall glitches are cutscenes and will freeze up
Great artstyle, great environments, great world building, great lore, great level design.
Not for me they don't
Stealth? Comfy ? What is that.

But that's wrong. Daud's campsign was fun, but not better than Corvo's.
The fuck? They're not even close to being the same kind of game. Hitman: Blood Money is my favorite game of all time but your statement is still retarded.
nvidia or AMD?
>le comfee meemee
This has to die already.
Ah yes of course, I thought you were talking about Curnow and Campbell (funniest thing I've found with those two is make the former kill the later and not getting directly involved).
>but I wouldn't even call it a stealth game then
Your retardation isn't a fact to back anything up
>newfags hate comfiness
no shock there
Dishonored is in my top 10 of all time.
I rarely do proper stealth runs though. Going full aggro and messing with lethal combos is more fun
I like doing murderstealth a lot
Kill everyone without ever being seen
Game actually looks pretty good downsampled. There's also some tweaks you can do to raise shadow quality and remove texture lod and such.
Also a lot of people always seem to be judging it against Thief when, while it is kind of similar in some areas, they obviously weren't going for being a Thief clone. Dishonored 2 looks like it's improving on nonlethal and pure stealth playthroughs so I'm excited about that. I just want it to be out already.
>this shit
>comfy
I couldn't even get past the first level.
Boring ass game.
