What's the point of these threads if there's no game, no gambling, no flash sales or dailies? Old Steam sales at least had an element of momentum and excitement to them, like you were participating in an event. This is just a two week discount. Everyone's already bought what they want, it's already over.
I am alone in my house. It is over midnight. I haven't been outside for 5 days now. I've received no phone calls or messages. I want to talk about sales with people who care about same things as I do. My life sucks and this is the escapism I need.
Bought LEGO Batman 2, 3, the Hobbit and LotR, also F1 2013 fucking Codemaster pieces of shit never put it on sale so fuck it whatever, they win this one.
Downloaded Batman 2, dowloading F1 2013. Dunno if I'm gonna play them now, started emulating Skies of Arcadia like 2 days ago so prolly gonna finish that first. And yes, having fun so far.
Dungeon of the Endless won't let me past the fucking splash screen
Glad to hear that.
I was going to buy Lisa but it's more expensive now than it was during the winter sale.
I was going to buy the Tomb Raider reboot but it's also more expensive now than it was during a previous sale.
There's no reason to look at the sale after the first time you look at it because nothing changes.
>no game
You mean no attempt to coerce people into buying more stuff in the hopes of winning a pointless competition?
Bought BAD COMPANY 2 and L4D2
HAHAH LE PRAISEEEEE GABEN XDDD OH GOLLY OH JEEZ MY WALLET ROFL SO MANY GREAT DEALS RIGHT?????
I see my thread title did what it was supposed to do.
Im waiting till payday desu. so ill be buying all my games on the 1st july
Just bought these.
O U T P L A Y E D
Grim Dawn is good
Ziggurat is ok and devs are cool guys, but you can finish it in one hour and after that it gets boring.
Dishonored is great. I hope you got the dlc as well.
I got the one with all the DLC for I think around 8 dollars. After I play Grim Dawn for a bit I'm going to play it.
>Crimzon Clover
>Darksiders I & II
>Impossible Creatures
Is The Longest Journey any good? It looks neat but I am afraid the story is going to be girly YA novel trash.
I have been trying to find games with actually good stories and worlds after recently beating the first Deus Ex. There just aren't that many actually good game stories after you have been reading books for so long.
I was considering Grim Dawn, but I'm playing through Van Helsing Final Cut at the moment, and I wanted to go back to the post-game stuff in Victor Vran. Plus I have Torchlight II which I haven't touched.
What are the best roguelikes on Steam? ADOM isn't on sale so fuck that, I'll just stick to the free version. If I can't find anything new I'll probably just pick up that Rage DLC for ToME.
Also how is Styx? Long and/or lots of replay value?
Surely you're not implying Deus Ex has an actually good story.
Dredmor?
The only one that comes to mind, I personally like it but /rlg/ mostly hates it. They also hate ToME though, so that may not affect you.
Im considering getting GTA V and Gauntlet, how is the SP for Bad Company 2? Im sure MP ist dead by now.
I've beaten torchlight 2 so many times. Grim Dawn is a much darker version of torchlight. I haven't beaten GD yet, but Its about on par with TL as of 4 hours into it.
Diablo 3 is such shit.
How many people does Bad Company 2 still have playing? I haven't played it in years, and that was on PS3. To play it on PC now at 60 fps would be great. If it's a ghost town though, I won't bother.
I have 10+ games on my wishlist, but I know if I buy them then i'll never get through my backlog. Oh well, i'll probably buy said wishlist in the next few days.
There's Dungeons of Dredmor but it's babby tier in terms of depth and difficulty, so I doubt it'll appeal to you if you've already played the good stuff.
>I am alone in my house. It is over midnight. I haven't been outside for 5 days now.
Gonna buy Infinifactory right now but overall there's not that many games that I would buy without a -80% sale 2bh
It's average genre-fiction tier. But the themes are well established, the plot isn't handed to you freely, there are some nice twists and turns, and it doesn't feel hammed in to the game.
In the end I only bought these.
Is dustforce good? I enjoy super meat boy. It kind of looks kind of like the same game.
>Go Go Nippon
hey m8, I picked up Age of Mythology EX, FortressCraft Evolved, and Dominions 4 today. Only played AoM so far, and the game is just as cool as I remember it.
Oh so apparently trying to to use a 4K resolution scaled to a 1080 monitor breaks the menu on this game, and the registry in the game folder is the wrong one to edit and I was meant to edit one in my documents
what is this fucking Stardew Valley game and why cant I stop playing it
>4K resolution scaled to a 1080 monitor
Why? Isn't it a 2D game? There's nothing to gain from downsampling.

Could someone pick up a few games for me?
Except muh numbers
That's good to hear, guess I'll give it a pass until next sale.
Yes
What's the best game I can buy for $3 or less?
Why do you want more, you dont even play the ones you have.
Thanks. I haven't checked out the MP yet. I have a few friends with the game so I imagine if official servers are down I can find a workaround. Kinda wanted to experience the campaign and a few casual DMs against AI before I bothered with MP.
Why can't we beg for games?
>all that weeb garbage
Just get grim fandango. Maybe MGSV if you have the extra money.
meh, when i played dishonored on release it seemed ok and i liked the setting but it's just way too easy. blink everywhere and fuck shit up with zero effort. lol.
>canadian
no thanks
Yeah it is easy. It can be finished without blink though (nearly).
Any recommendations for point and click games? They are my favorite but they are either trash or amazing.
Played Broken Age (sucked), Armikrog (sucked), Grim Fandango (okay), all the Sierra games (played KQ remake ep 1 wasn't too into it might season pass...) all seasons of Sam and Max and SBCG4AP.
Day of the Tentacle worth it?
Styx is great
Recommend me some cheapo SHMUPS anons.
Did they ever fix the crashing and shit performance in just cause 3? What about arkham knight, did they fix that too?
Machinarium
Samorost
7 Days a Skeptic (its free)
Deathsmiles
Thought about Doom 2016, but then decided not to get it since I have a ton of other shit to play and Rocket League is consuming way too much of my time.
Crimzon Clover, Raiden IV, Ikaruga. Not that cheap but Mushihimesama is fantastic.
Fran Bow
Anna's Quest
Technobabylon
Primordia
>RETARDED ANTI-VIRUS THINKS GAME.EXE IS SUSPICIOUS
>Bought LISA RPG and played 20 minutes
>Come back 6 hours later
>This happens
>Can run Roller Coaster Tychoon A-OK but an RPG Maker game that a Toaster can play is what's a threat?
Deathsmiles isn't cheap
Got Crimson clover, ikaruga, and raiden and mushi too expensive
DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours is AMAZING. But it's 40 dollars now. God damn, that's too much. I pirated it and I'm waiting for the price to go down to buy it for free.
I posted BASICALLY this list with some small changes last night. But I finally buckled down and spent $70. Which is more than I usually pay on anything except actual hardware.
How did I do Sup Forums?
What's the best JRPG I can get for the low-low?
Don't know what Particle Mace and Detective Grimoire are, the first one in particular sounds like shovelware. The rest is pretty solid, lots of good picks.
>having Antivirus at all
just refunded spore + galaxy + creepy cute bundle
it was just so fucking boring.
i've bought game dev tycoon too and that was fun. so now ill have 14 dollars. thinking about castle crashers + battleblock theater but i dont have friends so idk
>Raiden
>too expensive
Nigga it's 3.75.
Is Civ 5 fun? I have 2 friends wanting me to get it. I enjoy AoE but I'm not sure how I feel about turn based games
I only have $2 which is why I asked for cheapo shmups
I bought all the Hitman games last year, but I don't know which to play. Should I just get through all of them?
Same for Ass Raider, except for the newest one.
>mfw Dragons Dogma
>the first one in particular sounds like shovelware
It basically is. I followed the devblog years ago though.
...
Is Life is Strange worth it or is it just a bandwagon meme?
Also is Littlewitch Romanesque any good?
>Is Life is Strange worth it?
No it's tumblr shit
If you can stomach the older games, sure. Mandatory to play are Blood Money and Contracts. They are the best games.
divine divinity is a top tier diablo-like game with decent plot
think of it as isometric skyrim, as you are COMPLETELY free to do everything your way
Anyone?
Yeah, but only worth with all expansions. You'll start playing and wonder why its 4 am suddenly
TR just go chronologically, or 2013 then TR1 onwards.
Hitman games are all very good, 1 is kinda meh compared to 2-4. Start with blood money because it's the most beginner friendly and very fun, 2 is probably the most frustrating
NOTE: I am aware of the Sonic HB. I bought the last one which included almost every game currently offered except SA2.
If you're talking about the original TLJ and you like point & click games then yes, it's one of the classics, it's great. Dreamfall (the sequel) is nice too, haven't played Chapters yet.
Is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance actually good?
Also, I haven't played through all the MGS games, just the first one but have been wanting to work my way through them. Will MGR spoil anything or anything?
How about you play the demo?
SA2 is on the humble bundle now, user. Go claim it before you make the mistake of buying that jesus christ
I have watched part of the first episode as a stream. It seemed alright.
Got Verdun, MOW AS2, and Blitzkrieg 1 and 2. Considering Battlefleet Gothic, Dishonored, Subnautica and Door Kickers.
r8 and h8
You can save 1c if you buy XV and season pass separate
Remove Ryse, it's overrated
Only get FF8 if you know you like it
Rest seem good
You should play at least MGS2 and maybe 4 first, ideally
>>You should play at least MGS2 and maybe 4 first, ideally
K cool thanks.
Good games all around
well done
user, you already own Sonic Adventure 2 from the bundle. Tell me you backed out at the last second, I'm worried about you.
> AoE II is over 15 years old
> AoE II has 11,000 people in game right now
> AoE II has two new expansion packs
> They're all 85% off
is this real life
we're in the best timeline, friend
user, I dont though. The last Sonic bundle (which I bought) came out around a year ago WITHOUT SA2.
