You should play the first two because they are better then what 3 will be since they don't have enough money and time to make it as good as previous games.

I know right? They had to practically beg just to reach their goal.

Even more sad was when it gained money very fast around 4 mil $ so they added more stretch goals for over 11 mil $.
In the end it stopped at like 5.5 mil $ and someone canceled the original ryo jacket before the campaign ended.
In such short time and budget there is no way the game will have as much attention to detail as previous games in the series.

Kickstarter is so fucking awful that it made the announcement of fucking Shenmue 3 and Psychonauts 2 disappointing. Waiting for crowd funding to die honestly family.

Honestly, it wasn't even crowdfunding hypetrain bullshit or even necessarily mr shitface's recent developments that killed any hype I could have had for that game. I knew from the moment that I beat it that there is no way that DF could possibly top it. Especially if the development stories about how Tim would always fuck around and not work are anything to go by.
