Is there such thing as a game with too much content?

Is there such thing as a game with too much content?

No.

Sell me on this game.

It's harvest moon with waifus and 300+ hours of gameplay

like animal crossing but with actual shit to do

And the combat is surprisingly fun

I only played RF3. Just so I can have a comparison to what you think, how much more gameplay is there compared to RF3.

Yes DAI has to much shit to do that i just don't care about so stopped 20ish hours in

>3d mode for ages 7+

Combat is honestly too simplistic, but it's not bad as long as it's not the only thing you do.

RF4 actually has decent balance compared to 3, you don't have to grind incessantly to make marginal progress

4 is longer but only because the third arc can take several in-game years to trigger

Are we talking about quality content or hundreds of "collect x item" sidequests?

a little of both

RF4 lets you be as autistic as you want, you can grind all your fields to max level and get all your crops to level 10 and trigger something like 100 random events and level literally 50 different skills

you don't have to to beat the game, but it does help your stats. Every level you get in non-combat contributes to your skills

>Get this game
>See the female character
>Can't help but name her Miku

I had no regrets.

RF4 is my favourite out of the bunch. BUT YOU SHOULD DEFF PLAY RF: TIDES OF DESTINY!

I swear to god if 100%ing this game and playing for way too many in-game years doesn't unlock Ventuswill marriage I'll just go back to playing Friends of Mineral Town and marry the Goddess instead

Too long of a tutorial but other than that its pretty good.

SAO Hollow Fragment is the only game I've ever played that stretches its content way past breaking point though.

>best girl is a cannot have
At least you can see her human form whenever you want

she's cute both ways.

Is it good? I asked around when it was on sale for $5 last time but no one really recommended it.

The only good thing is the opening animation.

lmo not at all but it's worth to play it like its worth playing Sonic 06.

Yeah, the combat in the Rune Factory games doesn't get too complicated. Still, it's serviceable and helps to break the monotony of farming when you have too much time in your hand.

RF5 when? ;_;

Should I wait until this is on sale to buy?

it's good if you're into literal farming and level progression

Everyone on Sup Forums should tweet at the marvelous page to ask for 5, ;_;

My mistake, it was $9

apparently that shit can damage eye growth

But if our eyes are developing for our entire life, how are they real?

We all know that in these games the best girls are always cannot haves.

>Trying to get all the gold fish trophies

Fuck that shit

The only bad things about RF4 were the fucking random events that progress the story and the fact that you can't waifu Venti.

I feel that way about Witcher 3. At first I liked how much shit the game had to do, but eventually I grew tired of it and just started rushing to the end. I thought the battle at Kaer Morhen would be the end, but there was still a substantial amount of game time after that.

Go to bed Jaden.

That's not true. 4 is longer because 4 is longer. 3 wasn't even the length of the first story arc of 4 and 4 has another story arc that is just as long. The third story arc is shorter but as you said takes a while to trigger if you're unlucky.

Man I still haven't beaten Rune Prana.

I loved the crafting system in this game. One of the few games where I can abuse the system to become ridiculously overpowered, yet still face some challenge in combat.

Forte is the best.

is this good?

Too bad you faggots weren't interested in Rune Factory games when the company still existed.

pls don't post a yotsuba pic it makes me cry

I doubt it would have helped their situation anyway.
