WANTED BY THE LAW
At least Kojima make better games than the average
Nah, not Kojima.
Sure Phantom Pain was an unfinished disappointment, but it's still good in it's own right
Igarashi is also giving people exactly what they want and asked for. You can spout whatever bullshit about Bloodstained being a rehash all you like, but that's literally what people asked him to do and he's doing it.
leave Iga alone asshole
Kojima is one of those psychic/medium tv show hosts who get a bunch of people to believe he is amazing and mystic but really he's pulling the long con and making you do all the work trying to piece together the bullshit stories he writes that don't make any sense.
>and making you do all the work trying to piece together the bullshit stories he writes that don't make any sense.
I always wondered why so many people have trouble understanding the story? Are you people just retardedly stupid?
99% of people who played phantom pain fell for the ruse, the fact that eli's storyline never ties itself up sucks but the fact remains that figuring out the truth is one of the most satisfying moments in vidya
MGSV has a really strong start, then a really disappointing middle where you kinda think everything is falling apart, but then the ending redeems a LOT. Not everything, but a lot. Eli's story getting cut sucks a lot, but you can still see where they were going with it and ultimately that subplot was not all that important. Plus the gameplay in general was some of the most satisfying in any stealth game ever, it set a new bar for action stealth that no one ever will even attempt to meet because making worse games still sells just fine.
agreed. I still think the majority of Sup Forums would like the game a lot more if they played it through a second time and payed enough attention to realise that venom is big boss
MGSV got fucked by Konami, every other MGS game is great.
Death Stranding will be the actual test now, no more being tied to MGS and can't blame Konami.
>not tim schafer
your post is bad and you should feel bad
MGSV honestly was the game that made me realize video games can be much more complicated and impactful than movies, I have very high hopes for death stranding
No there's going to be no Tim Schafer, because op is just baiting and nobody cares that Tim Schafer conned them until he starts making another game. Then it'll be topical to shitpost about him.
It's not all the plot twists and numerous similar characters that is really hard to follow. It's all the pointless, abstract symbolism, plot gaps, unnecessary details, and major plot points that hold no water in any real, compelling story.
Replace Iga with Miyazaki
The story itself is simple as shit, almost cartoonish, but the autists who keep trying to force it as some sort of post modernist high art are the ones interpreting it as a convoluted plot with real thematic depth of which it actually has none.
It's just a fun unique game with cheesy humor and quirky characters, no need to pretend it's anything more or less.
>MGS
>hard to follow
that's funny
the only game where things actually get abstract is V, and that's only because big boss is losing his fucking mind
To Kojima's defense, it's Konami's fault we got the Phantom Pain we have now.
Kojima drones in suicide watch again it seems
Leave judgement on Iga once the game gets released or falls into development hell. Development footage/demos tell jack shit about end product as seen in Colonial Marines and pretty much every Ubisoft E3 trailer.
...
>based Iga
>Kojima
Bait. To un-bait, replace them with Todd Howard and King Con himself, Peter Molyneux.
>actually believing this
Kojima fucked MGSV, not Konami, quit creating bogeymen. And really, every other MGS was great? The only other ones kojima had complete control over were 4, pw and portable ops, which are all garbage.
>Mighty Number Niners still mad their "game" was steaming shit
>Trying to disperse the shame
Sad.
But imagine the memes.
Honestly they sacrificed too much for the open world, smaller areas with more attention to detail and more variation would have been much more enjoyable
Kojima andd inafune are con men but Dae-su paid for his crimes
game series*
That went no where though. The trailers showed so much that seemed like hallucinations and visions but the flying whale was mantis magic, kuwabara man was also magic, flaming horse was magic, eli double was magic, horn was real.
It was so fucking goofy when you really think about it but so much that we've seen and theorized about before the release just ended up falling flat as a literal interpretation of what could have given MGS the depth its fans wanted.
Remember THE WOLBACHIA VOCAL CHORD PARASITES
It was just too disappointing.
The Kult of Kojima, everyone.
The group of fanboys that will defend a bargain bin Tom Clancy, all because he's weeb, like them, or because they played MGS when they were 5.
Iga and koji are based. You need to get out of town buster brown.
>if you see OP
>report immediately to mods
>known faggot
Like I said, it's not hard to follow, so much as it is:
>crappy dialogue
>plot holes
>crucial plot details that just don't make sense when you apply logic
>too many attempts at symbolism
>too many attempts to create depth and explore philosophies and ideals when in reality it doesn't really even do that at all.
Ubisoft shill detected.
MODS MODS MODS
Alright I fixed it.
Inafune I understand.
Kojima is an elder God ruseman and always has been. People need to stop pretending the Metal Gear "canon" hasn't been ridiculous since day 1 and most would argue his games are fun despite the writing.
IGA made games people loved and when he stopped being directly involved with CASTLEVANIA people begged him to come back. Bloodstained is an IGA Castlevania in all but name. It looks fine and plays fine. Stop trying to make every fucking Kickstarted game MN9
Forced meme is forced.
Ubisoft? That's as off topic as it gets.
hello (((reddit)))
This.
Even the beginning of MGSV was trash. I felt like I was watching a movie that was directed by a 12 year old. When Kojima has complete control, he creates shit and sells it as cerebral art.
t.reddit
I think a lot of people miss the depth related to big boss's role in the storyline because they either don't realize that mission 46 is a lie or they don't care enough about MGS lore to realize how far big boss has fallen
it's really poignant to see one of your favorite characters in video games become a depressed, schizophrenic shell of his former self
>too many attempts at symbolism
This so much.
It's like Kojima read 1984 and Moby Dick a couple of months before development and thought
>dis rook very nice how can I add to game
And the nigger just added a big brother poster on mother base and a literal flying whale. None of the themes but all of the flare perfectly describes Kojima's derivative style and he's been doing it all since the first MGS. Every single game without fail.
Nope
>Tom Clancy,
what if mgs 5 is the only mgs game that I actually I liked?
At least finish the game before defending it. This is just embarrassing.
MGS5 is easily one of the best games I've ever played
If it REALLY was unfinished all I could see them adding is maybe an additional area or something
But none of the missions felt redundant anyways, even in one's that had the same general area.
That is fine because it is the best game. Don't listen to the fags.
