Secret boss is tougher than the final boss

>Secret boss is tougher than the final boss

OF COURSE IT IS
OF COURSE
IT
IS

KILL THIS MEME

that's a normal occurrence asshat

>When the secret boss wakes up you die

i don't remember a game doing that other than Dark souls 3 and The Witcher 2 actually

>Secret Boss is tougher than the Final Boss
>Unless you fight the Secret Boss, then the Final Boss becomes stronger.

Hi

FFVII

This cunt.

Why would they make a secret boss thats a pushover? It may as well be a secret cutscene in that case

What game does this?

Ware wa Messiah!

Hahahahaha!

Golden Sun: The Lost Age; Dullahan was an absolute pain in the ass. That's not to say Doom Dragon was easy, though.

Kingdom Hearts

>Secret Boss is weaker than first boss

Pretty much any Final Fantasy that has secret bosses

Leviathan a cutie

OP are you an idiot, the bonus boss is SUPPOSED to be harder. They exist purely for the challenge (or sometimes the loot). The final boss on the other hand is a required fight to beat the narrative.

Tales of Vesperia. If you gathered all of the Fel Arm superweapons, then the final boss gets a third form and is stronger than the bonus boss. And you have to beat his third form to unlock the Fel Arms power.

That being said the PS3 version added another bonus boss who is even stronger and is immune to damage from the Fel Arns.

>Secret Boss defeats the Final Boss if you beat it

...

Dark souls 2

I'm not sure why Archpriestess Choir gets her own achievement in Momodora 4

She's the easiest fucking boss in the game. Her sister put up more of a challenge.

why, my peanus weenus of course

hahah!

it's my weeeeeenus peanus! hahah

ITT: Nightmare fuel - my answer, of course, my peanus weenus

hahaha!

Every jrpg ever.

I don't know if I should say persona 3 and 4,s elizabeth and margret are hard or just utter bullshit.

I don't understand how ur suppose to beat them without looking up the requirements. Who even figured out all that crap to begin with.

Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario TTYD

>people actually falling for these posts and responding seriously

Fucking christ.

>TTYD
>Kill Bonetail
>2xp
I was fucking mad

If you make it to the bottom and beat Bonetail, there's nothing left in the game you need more exp for anyway.

>secret boss is totally unremarkable other than the fact that it's stats are 10X as high as anything else in the game and has no strategy to defeat it other than grinding for 20 hours

Why do so many JRPGs do this?

This motherfucker

I mean at that point you had already beaten an enemy stronger than the actual final boss. What use is XP?

>implying watching numbers go up the screen isn't its own reward

>turn-based non-strategic game

What else are you really going to do to make a boss tougher?

Here are your options:
-Jack up stats
-Bullshit, op moves that leave you scrambling to keep up with healing
-Unfair gameplay mechanic advantage like extra turns
-Some combination of the three

This is why anyone who says jrpgs are hard is full of shit. You just bulk up your team and then alternate between attacking, healing and maybe buffs/debuffs and needed, and most games don't even need buffs/debuffs even in the hardest fights.

who /dangermario/ here

what about Memelands 2

...

Heard you was talkin shit
