They actually released Skyrim early because they figured that the testers had put it towards "good enough" even though Dawnguard was supposed to be part of the base game (not kidding at all). It's becoming like movies where they release for a certain month rather than being like "we made a great game and they can buy it when they have the money." You know, back when they weren't trying to meat initial sale quotas for shareholders by dropping it before the holiday season.
