Just fuck my roleplay and immersion up senpai.

>3dpd

Fallout 4 removed literally everything I enjoyed about RPGs with its gross over simplification of character building. I can only imagine that the new Elder Scrolls will be even worse.

Todd pretty much admitted the dialogue system in FO4 is shit. I doubt he'll make another game with it.

>roleplay and immersion in TES games
kek

Todd said that he fucked it up for Fallout 4 and they weren't going to try it with elder scrolls. Thanks for beta testing Fallout bros c:

Don't forget the wheel.

seen this twice. When user? Were you in the last fo4 thread?

What are you playing it for then?
The great combat mechanics?

10 races, male and female

No way would they spend money on 20 different recordings for every line for the playable character. They'd get so much shit if they limited race selection, so they can't just have a male and female voice either.

I liked the level system. You could really specialize a character.

Seconding , source?

[HATE DRAUGR]

There's a perfect solution to this, just remove mer and beast races.

...

Possibly
They said they're getting rid of the dialogue options from FO4 so it'd be a considerable amount of additional voice acting. But who knows.

Just remove 60% of the characters in the game? Good idea.

Glad we agree

Last time around they had no problems removing 100% of skills. And before that they had no problems removing 80% of character creation.

Implying youll be able to play anything but human.

impossible.
while in fallout 4 you had different races, they were all still human
for Elder scrolls you would need specific VOs for human, Orc, catman, lizard and elves.
highly unlikely that they would put that much effort into it.

No, in 3 and New Vegas (moreso the latter), you could really specialize a character. In 4, you're going to have all perks and all SPECIALs maxed eventually, essentially turning you into the same god-character in the end no matter how you play.

Have you leveled that much? I personally don't know anybody to get close to maxing out.

I think Todd is plotting something...
>Bethesda going into VR
>complaints about F4 dialogue system and voice acting
What if...TES VI has First person VR + voice commands?
Todd is a madman, he'll do it given the chance.

They'd need to do 6 voices min.

Female argonian
Male argonian
Humans
Khajit etc..

Unless they would just say fuck it and gave them all a generic white person voice

No TES6 until 2019 anyway.

Only if it's a little girl.

Will cat people be cute in TESVI?

He's said he wants to try out VR and see where it goes. And he acknowledges that the majority dislike the voiced character in Fallout 4.

they would and are all going to get generic white person voice.
they aren't even getting Nord accents this time, just American-California accent.
Bethesda IS going to get worse and worse. we ARE all going to suffer. mark my words, Ashen One.

...

Yes now, we do the voice acting now.

You will be able to play imperial only.

Who gives a shit.

Skyrim - player house
FO4 - player settlement
TES6 - ???

Just let these game to become more and more like the sims.

>As such, Bethesda is taking player feedback and "think[ing] long-term" with it. Howard said these things aren't just "one-off, meaning Fallout 4 comes out and then we forget about it." It's an ongoing thing, and player feedback is "really, really helpful."

Nah voice acting will stay.

Strongholds like in morrowind maybe

The vast towns and villages.

You'll be a king or the Emperor on top of being able to be the master of every guild in the game.

If they fine tuned the FO4 building so It works well JUST making a player house I would be fine with that.
The "custom" houses in the Skyrim DLC are plain as balls can could easily be made by a player.

werent player houses already a part of fallout 3 though? or was it more complex in skyrim

Player houses existed in Oblivion.

Player houses existed in Morrowind.

I don't care about voices in TES 6. All I want is a large world to explore, deep rpg elements and a engaging story and lore.

Player houses existed in Daggerfall.

Player houses existed in Arena.

>TES 6
>deep rpg elements
>engaging story

Skyrim 2 should have a life cycle system. Get married, get pregnant, have a kid, die, take over kid, repeat until your skin is as black as the soul of the Night Mother.

> Large world to explore
> Deep rpg elements
> Engaging story and lore.
> Expecting this out of an Elder Scrolls game
I can't think of a single game that had all 3 of those. They gave up on deep rpg mechanics after they saw more people bough the dumbed down Morrowind.

Isn't there an RTS like this? Every turn is year, so time actually passes. Don't ask me what game, cause I can't remember.

Any RPGs like that?

Hot model.

The Guild 1-2 maybe

>What Elder Scroll?
>Not my business
>HATE Elder Scrolls
>Support Elder Scrolls

There's literally no point in playing any Bethesda "RPG" made after 2008

>shit stories
>99% of sidequests are shitty copy-paste fetch quests
>shitty 10 year old engine
>barely even any role-playing in them

Pretty sure Crusader Kings does this, or something similar

Crusader Kings simulates each day. And you can play from 800AD to 1400AD.

Jesus, I played that game quite a bit and got nowhere near having all perks.

After the nth draugr-filled crypt, i can safely say that everyone hates it

No one said you had to get all of them. If you want to feel like god, then the option is there. It's open ended so roleplay minded players have the option if they want it.

You can't say a game is roleplay friendly when it limits what you can and can't do. Pigeonholing you into certain builds isn't rp friendly at all.

Civilization does this for its turn system

no voiced protagonist please it will reduce the amount of playable races and dialogue
