This is NOT Warcraft in space! It's much more sophisticated!
This is NOT Warcraft in space! It's much more sophisticated!
Explain this odd behaviour.
dont fucking remind me.
Not being able to steal warhammer 40k lore and concepts anymore really hurt Blizzard.
What did Warhammer 40K steal from?
Starship Troopers mostly.
the writing of this was so awful, jeez. not even your standard hollywood popcorn flick has that generic characters and story.
Should I watch that? I heard it's some nerd shit.
I was referring to the books but the movie is actually better.
What am I looking at?
Super Saiyan Kerrigan
The main campaign of Lotv was actually pretty ok imo.
The epilogue was utter shite though.
I'm fine with Kerrigan being a space jesus and emotional inconsistent. Even the Lovecraft beings are fine.
Her turning into space angel/goddess is going too far.
The ending with Jim is even more bullshit. I'm convinced that he killed himself.
>People actually thought the writing would somehow improve after WoL.
Kerrigan should have died for her crimes.
>This is NOT Warcraft in space! It's much more sophisticated!
I have evolved BEYOND the Queen of Baits.
Yes, it's really great fun
Anyways it's different from the books though. The books introduce the "Space Marine" idea, which goes on to inspire 40k, Doom, Alien etc.
Yeah, it was surprisingly ok
what the fuck legacy of the void came out?
Who came up wit this.
turns giant and it makes her boobs look smaller
The protoss chicks were pretty qt desu.
>tfw bought physical copy on release for 40 jewros
i don't regret it one bit
That´s bullshit.
It took very little to almost nothing from starship troopers, because everything that you could assign to starship troopers is found also in 2000AD and frank herbert´s dune- from which it takes considerably more- except for a swarm-like species.
That was zerg kerrigan, not human kerrigan, zerrigan seized to be after WoL, and killing her still would have made no sense.
Starship Troopers, Judge Dredd, Dune, a little bit of Star Wars and Dr. Who, and Warhammer Fantasy.
WHFB in turn took mostly from Moorcock, Tolkien, and history and myth.
You are on a fucking video game image forum. You're already way more nerd than that movie holy shit
>tfw I bought the special edition, which came with soundtrack, a dvd that had all sorts of extra content, and this kickass fluff/artbook.
Worth every penny.
Nigga she kept doing the same shit she did as Queen of Blades, after getting de-infested.
Oh is this a screenshot from Illidan in Legion? I can't believe that Blizzard is doing the same shit story with WoW
Oh and I forgot Space Hulk is inspired by Aliens, which in turn had a smidgen of influence from Starship Troopers. Basically Warhammer and 40k in general were a kitchen sink of everything that British nerds loved leading up to and in the 80s.
>Worth every penny.
i bet it is, did you read the short stories on the blizz site? they are pretty good fluff imo
Yeah. Many of them are way better written than the main story of the game itself.
>Many of them are way better written than the main story of the game itself.
this
blizz tends to shoot itself in the foot when it tries to do a longer story desu
