Steam Sale

You all already bought the Age of Empires bundle, right?

Also, recommend good obscure games.

Reminder to buy games separately so you can refund.

You can't refund if you buy more than 1 game at the same time?

Should I buy E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy?

Reminder that if you haven't already bought Crimzon Clover you are the cancer killing vidya.

Here is my steam sale purchases:

>TW Warhammer Blood DLC $3
>Xenoverse DLC $7
>Shadow of Mordor GOTY upgrade $10

Yes. All DLC. I'm happy with it.

Just look it up.Tired of having to spoonfed retards how refunds work.

> ur face on this sale

Check the cart

yes

Holy FUCK since when did Awesomenauts go full jew mode?

I've bought Ubisoft games this sale, so I'm pretty sure I already qualify for that.

>recommend obscure games
Sandmason is good

Shut the fuck up, queer

I wanted the AOM and the new chinese expansion but aparently it sucks ass?

Should I keep Hurricane of the Varstray?

Good thing I already had it in my library.

fucking gen z's.
>just LOOK at this basic thing Im doing
>I HAD to take a picture to share with you!
>please like, subscribe and leave a comment OMG ty!!

There's nothing in the Refund terms that says you can only refund full purchases, you can refund items seperately, dipshit.

wait for bioshock. a remastered version is coming out. right now it has terrible drm, you have to edit fov manually or else it's unplayable, and many people need to tinker around just to get it to not instantly crash on startup

Im staring at Assetto Corsa
Dat 599xx man
Not sure how bad i want it tho

>not knowing about bundles
>not knowing about multiple refunds from the same cart
Okay.

Thoughts? Any good cheap games? I dont have much left in the wallet.

si

>Somehow thinking a recommend thread is a gloating thread

what are some good games for people with shit computers

Chech my 6
Faggot

Bully for $3

I just bought it a few days ago and I've had no such problems. not saying it's false but still

Torchlight 2. Rik of rain.

how is age of empires 2 hd? I heard it had multiplayer problems or something

>Buying music

Age of Empires 2.

So you'd rather you can refund single titles instead of an extra discount by getting a bundle?
You can still refund bundles, just test the games out before playing more than 2 hours.

And you can refund more than one thing from the same cart.

Careful with Arkham origins if you played Arkham City. The city in Origins is just a tiny portion of the city in City. Getting around is so fucking slow that the game has fast travel.

>Firewatch
>Grim Fandango Remastered
>Danganronpa

Tell me what to play, Sup Forums.

Not going to spoonfeed you. You'll figure it out eventually especially regarding bundles.

Havent played the expansion but AOM itself is pretty much the same. If you're missing AOE and rise of nations als just get the full rts bundle, you cant go wrong with that
You get the remaster if you already own the original, same for 2

You can though
>go into account details
>view purchase history
>click on the whatever set of games you bought together
>click on the game you want to refund
>it's not what I expected
>I'd like to request a refund

yes

the remastered bioshock is going to be full price

Any good strategy games, RTS, GSG etc like wargame red dragon or Vic2, or fun flavor of the month games like Dead by daylight?

How is Victor Vran multiplayer?

Do you think I should get Arkham City instead? it's like the same price. Never played any of them

The shadowrun games are pretty good, barring returns.

Its an RPG that plays like xcom

You can, but there are stipulations.

Origins is disappointing compared to City but I think it's much better than Arkham Knight and about equal to Asylum

firewatch is a very good game but the ending is almost literally nothing and the game is fairly short

It's a great ride if you're into that sort of thing

Danganronpa is probably your best bet of the three

4.99 left

What buy?

Kind of want Rogue Legacy, I think?

play endless legend. and refund it if you don't like it.

One of those games that takes long enough to get a vibe for to ruin your refund time.

Battlefleet Gothic Armada.

shitty laptop reporting in, I bought Mirror's Edge, Portal, Portal 2, AssCreed 2, Hotline Miami 2, South Park: The Stick of Truth, LISA and Salt

City is the one to get if you're only going to play 1 for sure

How is Wolcen:Lords of Mayhem?

What even is there to spoonfeed about bundles?

>You can receive a full refund for any bundle purchased on the Steam Store, so long as none of the items in the bundle have been transferred, and if the combined usage time for all items in the bundle is less than two hours. If a bundle includes an in-game item or DLC that is not refundable, Steam will tell you if the whole bundle is refundable during check-out.

There's nothing to figure out about this.
It sounds like you're just bootyblasted because Steam denied you a refund once or some shit.

>combined usage time for all items in the bundle is less than two hours
hurr

picked up slime rancher and stardew valley.

Anyone recommend me some store/farming sims?

Shoppe keep is trash.

Not sure that qualifies as shitty by lappy standards

Play asylum and city, they're the best fpr that price. Get city if you like "open world". AK is good too but its much more expensive

Danganronpa and its sequel are fantastic, especially if you liked Phoenix Wright type of games.

The first game has a pretty shitty first case, but it gets better from there. The second game is even better.

>if you buy a bundle you cant refund one game from the bundle you have to refund the whole bundle
>if you get a bundle from anywhere other that steam you cant refund it at all

The guy is probably a nigger that cant put his thoughts onto paper properly but I think thats what he was trying to say

Yes?

>just test the games out before playing more than 2 hours

Problem solved? hurrr

Also there are others that aren't in writing that you'll just have to find out yourself (or do 2 minutes of research).

well I have to play AssCreed 2 and Mirror's Edge with 800x600 so

R8 and H8, please.

Since the game was first released.

I own all the Arkham games on PC. Go with City. Asylum is also great but some clunky mechanics were fixed in City so it feels smoother. Nothing game breaking.

i dont know the multiplayer but god DAMN the game is good as fuck
also they adding local coop soon

Are there any party-based games similar to Dragon's Dogma where you run around with a group?

How is Tempest?

Massive Chalice is crap. It has a few unique ideas, but the core gameplay loop, the tactical combat, fucking sucks ass. No cover, no overwatch, no reaction abilities. You run your dudes towards the enemies, attack in turns, use a few abilities, and either win or lose.

I repeat, this is a turn-based combat game like XCOM without cover, without overwatch, without flanking.

SupCom you only really need Forged Alliance
Styx is neat
Momo 3 is fucking short but only 1 buck
Bit Blaster? No idea, it's 50 cents, who fucking cares.

Yes, but a bundle normally also gives a bigger discount, so why wouldn't you want to go for that? Aren't you waiting to buy during Steam sales, because you want to buy your games cheap?
If you're not a total retard and make an informed purchase by doing some research first, you wouldn't need to refund unless the games don't work.

If you bought games at the start of the sale (since prices remain the same the entire sale anyway), then even if you did need a refund on a bundle, you would have the money back in time to repurchase the individual games that you do want to keep from the bundle.

This guy is an idiot.

Dragon age origins

>also they adding local coop soon
how soon? Because THIS interest me a lot.

Seconding

Honestly, a Souls-like game with actual proper party coop would be fucking neat.

isnt there a bundle for crysis 1? warhead is definitely worth playing

Styx controls like molasses. The platform grab detection, which you almost always rely on, is terrible. Like extremely terrible. Unless you are the type of gamer who must play every stealth game that exists, drop it.

Somewhat similar, dungeon siege

>not getting geometry wars 3

Wow, I knew MC had simplified gameplay but the lack of a cover system is a total dealbreaker for me. Can't believe not a single review mentioned that.

Cheers user.

Any opinions on the Steam Controller? Is it worth it over a xbone one for the discounted price? Could also get it with Rocket League...

I'm unsure about the whole 3D field thing.
I really enjoy geometry wars 2.

Are there any 2D fields in 3?

Cheers for the heads up.

I just like the sound of a stealth game featuring very big levels and starring a non-human character, and the writing+VA work seems pretty damn good based off what I've seen.

I'll keep your advice in mind before zi decide whether or not to pull the trigger though, thanks!

Yes, I'd say roughly 40% of levels are on one.

in the retro evolved levels there are

no, the only upgrade from an xbone controller would be the xbox elite controller

the DS4 and Wii U Pro pads are of similar quality if you prefer them but the steam controller is pretty trash

>divinity original sin
>technomancer

well Sup Forums which one is a better? Thinking of getting one to smash through this weekend

I've seen some people claiming that Ikaruga is on sale, however, in my case, it appears with its normal price. What the fuck?

XCOM is good, though has some problems with difficulty dropping if you manage to survive the start game rape and upgrade your gear without important countries dropping out. Remember to play on Classic Ironman mode.
Styx has some problems with awfully shitty map screen with no proper directions (if you're the type to prefer no objective markers), but is a pretty good stealth game with lots of vertical platforming. Another problem is that despite being a thief game, you only get the extra EXP reward if you find ALL the collectibles in a map (instead of each collectible providing a small EXP increase) which feels pretty bullshit and not fun.
Crysis is pretty neat due to suit abilities and open maps, though as a shooter it's not that impressive. For that price a definite recommendation though.

Which is the best S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game for someone new to the series to start on?

sucks you cant refund or even trade if played longer than 2 hours
now im stuck with wanking simulator in my library for all eternity

its 50% off for me, 4.5 eurobux

No, Xbone controller is better.

So are there daily deals or new deals coming out? Everything seems the same.

no reason not to pirate ikaruga

Shilling for Hard West

XCOM-styled turn-based strat with cowboys and demons and shit.

...the first one.

recettear

first one of course
it is also the best

nope

SoC dumb dumb.

YES

I like the sound of it mechanically but every review I've read says it wastes the cool setting and atmosphere with poor writing.

Thoughts?

Go Stalker SoC first. Linear but good.
CoP is also very good but more "open world ish" true stalkan if you want.
CS is just CS play it if you loved the other two and can forgive their bastard brother.
