Replayed the game earlier this year and found the DLC cases to be pretty good. They actually show up in between the main cases so people who have never played the game before probably wouldn't even notice they are supposed to be DLC.

This. I loved them. Especially the OD in a bathtub, Marilyn style.

The boxing rigging case was easily one of my favourite though.

Does the game actually have any replayability? It's been a few years and I don't really remember much of the cases, just a few of them as well as the god-awful ending.

I always see hate for the Arson story. But I actually thought it was incredible well written. It was neat how a simple house fire was actually a grand conspiracy involving real estate developers. Actually, I would say that Arson is probably my favorite part of the game. It could have ended better, but the idea itself was great. It just seemed a little disappointing to see Phelps get demoted.

Is this DLC? Don't remember this at all.

Why are "investigation" segments always the worst, most boring parts of detective games? And even worse, they always seem to take up the most time. The real interest is in interviewing witnesses, but those seem to go so quickly.

I really wanted to like this game but it was just a chore to play. The homicide cases dragged on way too long when a single murderer was way too obvious. The gameplay itself was incredibly tedious and most of it could have been cut. Danganronpa is a much better detective game in pretty much every way

Danganronpa. It has all the fun of searching for clues, getting information from people, and an incredibly fun interrogation/trial system without all the boring combat/driving. You also have to actually solve cases yourself without being spoonfed the real solutiom
