SNK Playmore was put together from a group of the original SNK guys after they dissolved so unless they tossed those guys too out as of late, last I checked they did get a cash infusion and an ownership change thanks to China, I'm not seeing the conscience crisis you want here.

X is an improvement in every way. So I got a chuckle that Humble Bundle put X behind a higher paywall. The Steam Bundle meanwhile has the proper trilogy that excludes 2.

2 also doesn't have that online multiplayer, which was a weird exclusion.

It made no difference to me. I splurged and went all in for that Metal Slug shirt. It was worth it.

How much was that anyways, I grabbed the bundle to share the Slug keys and took off without really thinking it out.

it was 25 or 35, I forget. I needed a handful of the games in that set too, so it wasn't so bad.
