Games with bad endings or ONLY bad endings that are actually bad

There are many endings and only one good one. You likely wont get the good ending without a guide
Persona 3's ending was more like a neutral ending though. Sure he basically died, but for the most part everyone ended up happy.
Also Drakengard 1, 3 and Nier as the most obvious ones.
Wait, he died? When?
The end
Wasn't he just sleeping on that robot's lap?
nope
Yeah. Eternally.
Gungnir. There are two endings and neither one is good.
Mass Effect 3.
Yes
For quite a long while
Persona 2 and 3 made me cry Tbh.
What plot element did I not pick up on that was supposed to tell me this?
The entirety of The Answer
NWN2.
>rocks fall everyone dies
OR
>come to the dark side and kill everyone
Admittedly, the latter provides for a more challenging fight than the King of Shadows.
Also the credits song
When the final move you can make in the game costs your entire health pool.
This is still the best use of those memes I've ever seen.
Nope, he died
Even the credits theme, Memories of You, talks about his death, but I guess that would be more obvious to a japanese person
>Being sad about a self-insert death
Jesus christ, user, go play the Mass Effect Trilogy then, the same character die at the end.
You live in the destroy and control ending actually
What actually happens in the ending if you tell Ryoji to erase all your memories?
How about Bad Endings that are way better than the good ones?
He used his HP in the last fight. Also on your last day everyone mentions that you look very sick. Basically the MC clings to life for few months so he could keep the promise he made with his friends to meet on the graduation day.
>Memento mori is a Latin phrase meaning ‘remember you must die’.
The Witch's House
What happened to good story in game?
This might be a joke, but I really didn't realize he was dead until I loaded up the Answer and they spelled it out.
Looking back, it's made very clear, but I was just too dense to get it.
Few games have such a hardon for genociding their cast.
But obviously synthesis is meant to be the "best end", it takes the most effort and has the biggest change.
One or all of these people and probably Luna as well are going to get a dirt nap.
>there were probably hundreds if not thousands of people that finished this game that didn't understand the ending
I could totally see it too considering how they didn't outright say he died, but holy fuck the entire game is spent pointing to your inevitable demise.
There are people that thought persona 3 was unplayable because the ending was spoiled
Shadow of the Colossus
Silent Hill 2 (Mostly, there's one 'sort of not as bad as the others ending')
Corpse Party (Book of Shadows especially)
