>content is not completely unobtainable if you didn't pay years ago anymore
>this is bad
Exclusive content is idiotic.
Why indie developers do that?
whether its stupid or not, you should at least keep promises
>people were conned into paying 60 bucks for this shit
LMAO
post yfw you pirate the game
...
Is the name a joke on Megaman 9 being a better game?
Inafune is just milking the cow for all its worth before it dies a painful death.
Has Inafune overdid it with MN9? Will people ever trust him again?
Isn't the bigger issue that this is coming out while backers STILL didn't have their codes yet? I suppose it's been at least a week since I heard that news, but it was ruffling a few rumps back when this was first announced.
Oh, that, and buying this DLC now will apparently be cheaper than if you bought the tier that awarded it originally. Or so I've heard.
Because they are fucking hurting for money and will do whatever they have to to keep their project afloat .
Reminder that Con Man never made Mega Man. Not even that "half-created" either. Just not created at all.
Is it even worth pirating the game though?
I assume not.
>They had to make it worse
Nigga, I didn't back this piece of shit so this is better for me.
More laughs are on the way!
Nope. It's not even that bad, but really why waste your time?
So what did Inafune do with Megaman entirely?
How did he get known as the father of Megaman?
He named his kid Megaman.
He was part of the original dev team, and has been credited as "character designer" in most of them, including MM1. In the mid-90's he becomes one of the main producers for the series, and he becomes the face of the series. The one that always gives interviews. People then put these two together and assumed that it was Inafune who made Mega Man's design.
Other people get confused and think he's a director. Note the tweet in here where they give Inafune credit for MM9, even though he was only one of 4 producers for the game.
There's also poor sourcing for a lot of old gaming news, so people have a lot of misconceptions and wrong ideas.
>mfw the original Legend of Zelda had pseudonyms for everyone on the team in the credits, aside from Hiroshi Yamauchi, the executive producer
>even Shigeru Miyamoto, though his least of all
I seem to recall someone said it was sometimes done to prevent head hunting by rival companies, but still. Makes it a hell of thing to get the history straight.
Here's a question: Who made the Castlevania series? Or how bout this: Who made Simon Belmont?
We can't answer that. We know the names of some of the people who made Castlevania 1. But that's it. We have no clue who did what. There might be some untranslated interviews out there. Who knows.
He did create Zero though.
He was the chief character designer (Though MM himself was a team effort from a few of the production staff; Inafune's contribution was the actual artwork of him based on an already finished sprite) on the early titles and later became the producer of the series in the mid-90s.
Yeah, and quite a few of the Robot Masters on the early games (Not just their designs) were solely down to him.
>mfw I did not backed
>chief character designer
In 1 the only character design he did was Elec Man. He was a pretty minor artist at first, just one among several.
