Well, it's that time of month again.
Time to see in 3 hours what indie garbage we'll get in our $12 grab bag.
In the meantime feel free to shitpost or discuss which month was your favorite/most value.
Personally, it was the one with Wasteland 2 and ARK. Some value right there.
Humble Monthly

>mfw just going to buy the games I want from the bundle off g2a
I'll probably sell Hurtworld off, its yet another damn EA survival game, god knows how many of those there are
OH YOU CUNT I WAS GOING TO CREATE THIS THREAD THREE FUCKING HOURS EARLY AND YOU STILL FUCKING BEAT ME
OH WELL I'LL BUMP THIS ONE
GET HYPED! IT'S GOING TO BE FUCKING SOMETHIGN!
Last bundle was pretty great, The Rocket League, The Forrest, Wasted and everyone's game of the month, Cat Girl Without Salad.
I also like the Mad Max one, Mad Max is a pretty great tie in game I probably wouldn't have bothered looking at, and I love Crawl, however only local it still disappointingly is.
I'd say the worst one so far was the Stick of Truth/This War of Mine one. Both great games but both games everybody already owns.
May was kinda bad desu, other than Mad Max being average the rest of the games were ehhh
Crawl - Local co op only, fuck off
Infinifactory - 2complex4me
Galak-Z - this was ok
New and Tasty - already beat the old version, meh
Fran Bow - Adventure game, not really fond of them
Jumpjet Rex - Pixel platformer, ho hum
Space Machine 1993 - An average shooter, but just for the amiga aesthetics.
Time to pad my library game count with more shit I won't get around to playing.
Yes, that one (or the one before with Wasteland and Oddworld New 'N' Tasty) was the best yet.
I'm a little bit nervous about this month because of the Steam sale.
The stick of truth one also had nuclear throne and that explorer game, pretty good imo.
But different strokes for different folks, I guess.
The first one was complete garbage. The rest have been good imo.
Make it 4 hours earlier next month friendo :^)
I was considering it from hours ago but I was worried I'd have to bump the fucking thing for 6 hours.
Some of them are pretty decent but this one is literally abandoned.
They're time-sinks for the underaged
Nuclear Throne is a great game coated in too much bullshit imo.
Fun for a game or two but not something with enough pull for me to master. If it was just a tad less randomized in how it fucks you over, It would be a classic. But I applaud anyone who gits gud in it.
That's the most retarded statement I've ever seen. That's all video games are.
Yeah, I read the recent reviews too. Typical.
Subnautica looks decent from the recent shill vids though.
It will be in a bundle eventually.
(in b4 its in this month's bundle, but they already have an EA survival one)
Ehhh, yes and no. Some games are deliberately designed so their mechanics have so much shallow breadth that they're largely designed to eat up kids time because no-one else will give a shit. That's MOBAs and Minecraft/Early Access Survival Games and shit.
Nuclear throne has the least influence of RNG out of all those kinds of games though. People regularly play through it with single weapon runs or melee only especially.
As well as fps and rpgs and walking Sims and gifting games.
It's gonna be Copoka.
Some people at my school made it. You fly around as a bird and listen to conversations.
Ehhh, not generally to the same extent. RPGs (especially Diablo) definitely influenced these games though, and modern FPSes are starting to get artificial progression mechanics and random loot drops and shit.
This. They're an alternative to playing pretend outside or playing with Legos.
They seem to attract a lot of grown up audience as well that has no time to play them, yet keep buying them because of how cool they sound on paper.
if i pay for this month. Will i be charged when it switches over too? or will it only charge me when the new games come out?
Unless you cancel (which you can do immediately), you'll be charged automatically in 3 weeks.
What's the point of the game?
Is it just a cinematic thing where the "experience" is the whole point of the game or is there an actual objective?
If you actually bought this month's bundle, you're absolutely retarded. Quote me on this; there will be 0 good games. Why the fuck would you buy it when the revealed game is literal shit and inferior version of Rust?
Ehhh, I just enjoy the gamble tbqfh and shitposting. Yeah, the main game is shit, but the bundles have, on the whole, been good enough to not make me cancel
I burn more than twelve bucks on basically nothing on the regular, at least I'm getting some dumb games out of this.
I think you're supposed to pick up shiny objects, or something. But it's mainly supposed to be "artsy", if I remember correctly. Oh, and it's set in a totalitarian dictatorship, so that's one of the main themes of the narrative.
Sounds stupid as shit
>Oh, and it's set in a totalitarian dictatorship
of course it is, edgy kids. kind of makes me want to create a parody of these sort of indie games, making a match 3 puzzle game set during a war in a totalitarian dictatorship with waifus
Sounds deep. I'd play it.

HOLY SHIT, JUST 2 HOURS LEFT, THAT'S LIKE 120 MINUTES, HOLY FUCK

WHO /HYPED/ HERE?
not at all, revealed game is garbage, makes me worried for the rest of the bundle.
You're, like, ruining the buzz, man.
if i sub now will i get this game and the next one for just 12 dollas?
no.
Yeah. It was hyped to all hell during production (it was made during a school project, and I was on another team). And what's funny is that the one game that really didn't get any hype at all ended up being the most successful out of the bunch.
youtube.com
I wasn't on the notes team though, since I'm way too cancer to make a decent game, even if it is just Spooks 32: Haunted House.
so i'll get both for 24?
You know. If they just did a monthly bundle, I would've bought most of them. But they do a blind bundle and I don't gamble. So then they reveal the games, I realize I would've bought it for one of the other games, and I gradually become spiteful towards all of those games. I'll never buy them individually now. All that interest turned to spite.
>Install game
>Wander around for a few minutes
>Some random kids come up to talk with me
>Tell me my mic isn't working
>Turns out my mic isn't compatible with the game
>Uninstall
Are there actually any repercussions to selling humble bundle keys on G2A?
I feel like it's a scummy thing to do but I have a ton of unwanted/duplicate keys I'll never use
Yes, and the rest of the bundles. You get charged automatically every month, approx 3 weeks in. You can cancel at any time.
(I'm not even a fucking shill, why the fuck am I typing this shit)
I'll keep buying these so long as there's potential for there to be a Catgirl Without Salad part 2 to be in one. Part one was actually one of the most entertaining games I've played this year.
Also what did you guys think of w
Wasted?
I kinda hated it but reception seems pretty positive
You could give away...on a thread like this...just a thought
But really, G2A is an option. I personally wouldn't but that's just me.
Use barter.vg nigger
OH SHIT SON JUST 90 MINUTES ARE YOU EXCITED YET? NO? WHY THE ACTUAL FUCK NOT? IT'S GOING TO BE FUCKING SOMETHING, I CAN FUCKING FEELING IT
G2A lets you sell and get 100% of the profits on 10 games
from there on they take 10% I think
and no but expect cashing in the money to be a hassle if you're a American
Hotline Miami 2
I'm calling it
>Bad Rats
>Bowl VR
>DayZ Standalone
>Dungeon Defenders II DLC pack
>Minecraft: Story Mode
>Payday 2
Deep down inside, you know that the bundle won't be much better than this list.
Do you have to buy this before the games are revealed or can I wait and see if I like it?
Before
OH SHIT SON JUST 1 HOUR LEFT
I'M OFF TO WATCH THE CHASE AND EAT PIZZA SO YOU FUCKERS HAD BETTER BUMP THIS UNTIL SHOWTIME
Didn't you cunts listen to me? I said bump the thread. Jesus, you can't get the staff
>Spent ten bucks on last month's Humble Monthly
>Turns out my laptop isn't strong enough to play Rocket League, and it crashes every time I try to play
>Can't get past the second boss of Cat Girl Hate Salad, haven't played since
>Was only able to play WASTED for a short time, and it's ANOTHER Fallout hoarding-type game that decides to limit your inventory
>Don't have another person to play Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes with
>mfw people still believe in Humble Monthlys
We're 40 minutes away, you guys are gonna make this shit archive 6 minutes before
So does anyone have links for the Humble Originals? I only have CGWS.
Have any of you gents checked out any of the originals besides Cat Girl Without Salad?
I thought Gunmetal Arcadia Zero was alright for a NESvania throwback.
>Have shit laptop
>Bad at games
>Has no friends
Maybe it's just you...
>Say a bunch of self inflected problems
>Somehow blame the company that you are a faggot
Seems like it's all your fault
Not sure what any of that has to do with the quality of humble monthlys
The sad part is you're right. My laptop can play most 2D games just fine, though.
30 minute bump
Random ass guesses
Mighty Switch Force HD
Broforce
Magicka II
A dumb "strategy" game
Some dumb top-down camera angle game no one ever heard of
isnt this bit too early
40 mins left
It was still an all time low (key sellers asidr) for Mad Max atleast. You should give Infinifactory another shot desu
>40
isnt it 26?
yes
The thread started like 3 hours ago...
if they made the bundle available to buy after they reveal it wont they actually sell more of these. What the fuck is with the mystery bullshit
It's about getting suckers
If it wasn't a mystery, they'd actually sell less because people would know it's not worth it
Most of others titles are often garbage. You should get only if you want to support them or if the main game is a good deal.
because then its just a time released humble bundle. it needs to be different. hey atleast you get something early. Its basically like a loot crate but with games
Name the games that will be in the bundle, Sup Forums
battleborn
Cities Skylines
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Bloodborne
Rare Replay
Vanquish
Super Monkey Ball 1+2 Deluxe
the Humble Original is Sonic X-Treme
Youtubers Life
Disappointment simulator
no one even plays hurtworld anymore, fuck this shit
OH SHIT SON 5 MINUTES

This is shockingly bad.
