It's pretty much the only well received Pokemon spinoff as well as selling on par with street Fighter 5 (while most likely having a smaller budget than it as well).
If they keep supporting the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series which always get middling critic reviews and get flip-floppy sales, it was pretty obvious they were going to support this when this became a success.

Dark Void seems more like the obvious choice for a support move. Scizor is the most likely playable character as it has a mega. Empoleon does have a chance at being the playable water starter though

It's really fun but it just lacks content. The singleplayer is just grinding against NPC's until you unlock shit or meet a boss and there isn't many characters. The characters thing is understandable but they don't even have alt colors or costumes Hopefully they'll start supporting it with more stuff
