>Much
Much
>Many faster than an RX 480
Better?
...
>15% on a game of their choice
>Much faster
>implying AMD didn't do the same when they said 480 crossfire beats a 1080 in AoS
>faster
>also adheres to industry standard specifications
480 will be downclocked btw.
Wow the 1060 is about 0,5Muchs per hour faster
I love these GPU charts.
Absolutely no indication what the numbers mean and insanely little steps blown up to make a visual impression of the own product to be a billion times better.
It's like they purposely make them as bullshitty as possible and yet people keep falling for them every single generation.
Also more power efficient.
>nvidia
not even once
they obsolete their own cards with that proprietary shit
>buying before HBM2 rollout
gonna enjoy the remorse threads
>they
or you could just look at the actual information that was released instead of presuming to slam nvidia because you read Sup Forums and don't investigate the actual story.

The hilarious part here is that the 480 is higher clock, has more cores, has more TMUs, has more max compute performance (!)
But the 1060 is still faster. LOL. That's industry leading design vs "we are going bankrupt and console contracts saved us" design.
Made this for another thread today.
Lost the original but it started from 82 instead of 0 because that's the default values excel makes when you put 84 and 85 into a chart.
Just shows how much effort they put into those.
>tfw I almost bought a new GPU due to the "new cards hype"
>tfw I realized that I have no games right now that need a new GPU
>tfw I didnt buy a new GPU afterall
Feels pretty disciplined senpai
90% of people who buy shit like 1070s buy it and then load up dota or diablo 3
its just self fellating shit
>15% "faster" in "SOMETHING" we don't know and if its even a game its probably using gameworks to reduce 480 FPS (Fasts Per Second) by a 30%
lol, whoever buys a pice of new hardware in the hype of the launch is a idiot, you don't need a new GPU right this fucking moment, wait until their are both out and tested and you can actually compare them.
RIP in piece AMD
Kind of a bummer because competition keeps prices down
>GTX 480
release year: 2010
>RX 480
release year: 2016
they're literally over HALF A DECADE behind nvidia
>there will just be a big vacuum and amd will go away forever
qualcomm, powervr, texas instruments, someone like that will step up and start making gpu chips the fuckin day before AMD goes in the ground.
Where's the cost chart
1060 will cost $250
this is not based on anything, i'm just telling you it will and I am right.
>GTX 1080
release year: 2016
>HD 7990
release year: 2013
nvidiacucks will never catch up
Pretty disappointing 2bh.
The fact that most modern games run fine on 660 gtx if i lower shadows and mess around with settings, but still keep medium/high graphics and get 45-55 fps just goes to show how unnecessary expensive some of this cards are for most people - i play on 1080p as do most people it seems.
700 dollars in USA, or 1k in Euro is unreasonable amount, except if your oil rig emirate kebab that can afford quad 4k monitors and invest 10k euros into a battle station.
>buying nvidia when mining is absolute shit with anything but AMD.
Should i grab the 480 if the motherboard Fiasco ends up being nothing?
It isn't nothing.
lol i knew the 1060 would btfo that cheap amd card. this shit happens every time around. stay cheap, cheap fags
>mining
>2016
...
>texas instruments,
no they wont
>posted fanboy AMD shit for the past 2 months
>now have been embarrassed out of the building
>respond by continuing to make fanboy shit
1070 level for $200? Can't wait for those people who bought 1070 over msrp to get cucked.
AMD has a lot of fluff on their chips that shouldn't be there in the first place. Supposedly more TFLOPS should matter as low level APIs become more commonplace, but by that time a couple of GPU generations will already be out.
I have no idea what the hell AMD's thinking.
>Kind of a bummer because competition keeps prices down
>kind of
for the sake of gaming i hope that AMD catches up. fanboys are cancer
>implying
I've never owned an Ati/AMD card in my life, I just find those charts hilarious.
besides this chart is pro nvidia the same way the OP ones misrepresents AMD. Retard
>I find the same non-joke "hilarious" over and over
gee, wonder if you're the one making and posting them
>that graph
How do they keep getting away with this?
$70 more dollaroos for better performance, if you said it was $20 I'd buy it
Stay mad AMDrone. Better luck with the 490, but who am I kidding?
>9800
Release year: 2008
>HD7990
Release year: 2013
What now?
