was fun. not fun enough to bother with endgame. heard delta was definitive edition/better in someway. waiting for delta to show up on ps plus or something.
its dull and uninspired
Feels like you're dreadfully underpowered for most of the game and especially in the final missions, but the stories are wonderful so I can look past it. The grind for some of the souls is unreal though. Faming Wyverns is just the worst.
Delta is fucking awesome.
It was on sale like last week
Get Delta version.
One of the best story, lore and narration I've ever experienced from any game. Grim dark experience throughout the entire game but well worth it.
Delta was better, and had one of the best storylines in a Hunting game I've played in years
Played Delta
This game is fucking amazing, one reason I do not enitrely regret buying a Vita.
The whole folktales/fairytale/mythology stuff with a grotesque twist is just so amazingly done and gameplay is superb.
I'm really really really really really hoping for a sequel, could even be for PS4 but I just need more of it.
I feel like it's the complete opposite
These people truly have taste. Delta's story moved me like few recent games could ever dare to. Fuck everyone for not owning Vitas and missing out on this masterpiece
I was annoyed by this too. It's not that it's so hard, but it takes fucking ages to kill anything in lategame story mode unless you're grinding on the side. And since the plot already recycles several monsters that sucks.
It doesn't look that great, but Vitagen seems to love it
I sunked about 300 hous in Vanilla
and then couldn't grind again in Delta, pretty sad because it's clear the Delta is better in everyway
Also the story and lore is fantastic
So, which A Certain Magician's Life was better?
I go with Delta because it sounds so magical. Yet Vanilla portraits a good sense of sadness.
Was it possible to save her in Delta?
Of course not.
You get a reunion with her for a mission though. Awesome stuff.
I like Delta's version more, it was a fresh change of pace from the original (which is really good) and made everything feel more magical in a way.
...
Never finished it because the combat got a bit repetitive, but the lore and story were really engaging. I've been wanting to buy Delta and retry.
I played Delta(the updated version of Soul Sacrifice) and its awesome. Great gameplay, great story and writing, even the voice acting is fantastic.
One of the few times I preferred the dub. It's really well done
Beat the original but dont have delta, should I? Do the saves transfers over?
Love it. Finally been playing it after a while, the grotesque designs mixed with the twisted lore truly make it a unique title.
Saves transfer over.
Delta is fun, I didn't play the original so I can't tell the difference between the two but Delta is a fun game.
One of my favorite games of all time
Yes, Carnatux gets expanded on (you get to meet his 'Family') and you get to meet the head of Avalon (total bro).
Also you can actually get a good ending out of this one.
>head of Avalon
You would thought he was a total maniac because he is the head of a bunch of edgy hunters, but he was the wisest, most caring person of all.
He dies in 2 hits though. He sucks as a companion.
>Grim dark experience throughout the entire game but well worth it.
That's what I like about it, yeah it was grimdark and edgy as fuck but the ending was incredibly positive and you had the feeling you really earned that shit.
Anyways, great game, amazing story. I wasn't expecting such feels from a hunting game to be honest, but I guess nobody did.
>tgfw blood build
>that feel when put SSD to the side to plat later
I think im the 10 or 11 star pacts now
It was until I learned the entire story was a take on the epic of Merlin from camelot, but somehow localization decided it was unfit from west.
Tell me Sup Forums what would you like Magusar or Merlin?
I liked the edgy names more. I'm not into Arthurian shit
Literally the reason to own a vita.
was the reason I bought a vita, I wish I hadnt been fooled so easily
Delta was fantastic, bro-op was nice as well. Don't really get how you're supposed to go down more than nine, ten floors in that infinite dungeon area though as I'd use up all my casts.
Blood magic only
