Why does everyone in that game talk like they have shit in their mouths?

Fucking dumbass.

Going by that image, Pathologic.

If you actually played the game, you'd know that they really have shit in their mouths constantly.

Goldeneye 64.

Eversion is a lovecraftian platformer. Except maybe worse.

Magrunner: Darkpulse is a lovecraftian Portal.

Anchorhead.

Anchorhead is excellent if you can stand text games

Oxenfree and Charnel House Trilogy are other games I'd say are "actually lovecraftian" rather than just throwing tentacles in your face.

Though Dark Corners is too over the top too.

Layers of Fear is probably the closest. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the devs for that were fanboys of Dark Corners

Why do you think it's called innsmouth

doesnt layers of fear rely too much on jump scares?

it's a haunted house simulator but to be fair so is dark corners most of the time

>layers of laughter

Sup Forums is dead

you also obviously haven't played Dark Corners if you think that counts as bad

>MUH Sup Forums IZ DED ;-;

Watch the video you flaming fedora. It has nothing to do with the LP'r and more to do that Layers of Fear is fucking retarded and tryhard.

So anyone have any games like Dark Corners? Any as charming, layered and with the whole Lovecraftian lore OR vibe to it? I need a fix, damnit.

I did, which you'd know if you read the entire post before immediately sperging out.

King of Shreds and Patches is also a great text adventure for this genre.

Emulate Eternal Darkness on Dolphin

That's better than Call of Cthulhu and one of the best survival horror games ever.

What is it like? Time to learn to emulate I guess.

3D Adventure Horror game with a surprisingly good combat system. Was revolutionary back then, and still kind of is, since Nintendo patented it's insanity feature. Just play it, don't read up on it.

It's similar to Resident Evil or Silent Hill except more story based and has better combat. Traverses a shitload of characters and times. You choose the eldritch god that you fight in the beginning of the game, and if you beat the game once you get to choose Cthulhu for your secret playthrough. Has pretty damn good writing.

Game fucks you through the 4th wall the whole game. Pretending to delete your saves or shut off your TV etc.

Great, will try to get to it. Definitely on my list now.
