How is it?

How is it?

Lags like a mother fucker

It's a bit too lengthy for my taste and the brightness setting doesn't allow for very good vision.

Really like it. It's like $7 right now and I'd say its a pretty good price.

Yeah same. Especially in the blizzard

Really, I don't get lag at all. But then again I've only been out in a blizzard once

>mfw it's winter irl and I put it on a lower difficulty, then putting on a nice podcast on and getting bundled up

Super comfy and immersive survival sim. Very fun to explore, but the maps as of right now aren't as large as they seem at first.

The Devs are very dedicated and are continually adding content; this isn't a dead-end EA game, or at least it won't wind up as such for a while yet.

I bought it a long time ago and still return to playing it, especially at night. If you like survival games it's definitely worth at least the $7 it's going for right now.

Yeah it happens often. It could be not optimized on my pc or something

Comfy.

Goddamn this game is so comfy
>tfw I became an autist and started roleplaying my character by writing in the journal by a fire

Seems odd considering that the graphics aren't really the best, but yeah it could be that

I've somehow sunk nearly 60 hours into it this last week. They made some really nice updates since last played and I'm really into it.
I don't have lag ever and my computer is beginning to edge into cheese territory it's so old.
I'm currently sitting all toasty wearing animal skins in a crazy man's bunker I found. I'm running low on food though so I'll need to move on soon.

they ruined the UI
it had its own unique minimilast/functional styling and they turned it into some kind of valve game zombie type shit

they did this because hinterland (the creators of this game) are jew scam artists
instead of working on the story mode, which actually costs money to produce, they rather adhere to this bullshit policy where they basically keep forcing themselfs to add useless micro updates to the game and keep that flow of steamcash steady

the long dark is a good game, but im afraid the devs are slowly ruining it from the inside out because they got greedy

I like it but a problem I run into is being stocked up and not having much to do besides eat food and sit in my home.

>Single-player game
>Lagging

Are you retarded?

lads the xbox sale is coming do you think they will have a deal on this game? i really enjoyed the game after playing a trial.

Well what else are you gonna call it

You gotta move on! Although, in sandbox is certainly is a question of move onto what.
Where am I supposed to go? If I survive long enough, does winter end? (I'm almost at 100 days) If I keep walking in a direction, do I find Russia eventually?

It's the frame rate dropping. Lag is short for latency, of which there is none in a single player game.

Personally didn't enjoy it. It's too heavy on the survival for my tastes but I guess some can see that as a good thing. I ended up having way more fun with the forest going insane and cooking locals than I did freezing to death and avoiding wolves in the long dark.

>Powered by Unity™

There is network lag and there is hardware lag.
Stop being an autist.

Not OP but what do you think is wrong with the UI? I kinda like it, although the clock they used in one of the first versions was better than:

>??? hours of daylight left

God damnit why can't they fix this

I think it's to imply that you're estimating time of day by the position of the sun. You only get ??? when the weather conditions block out the sun, like a storm. I agree though, I want to know the time.

Finally get a bow, shoot a deer. Deer doesn't die, runs away. Follow blood train, eventually find deer again, shoot with bow again, deer still doesnt die. repeat. run out of arrows. When does this get fun?

19 hours of play, eventually find the gun. See a bear, shoot 4 times. bear doesn't die, mauls me.

Seriously, when's it get fun?

It was converted to unreal.

>desperate survival

>fun

You only get one user, choose well.

Video Games. The fun should come as standard.

>Desperate survival or cupboard opening simulator?

I mean just because you don't find it fun doesn't mean everyone else doesn't either
