And now I'm going through NG+ and having fun again. I love it.

Honestly you missed the thing about the red thing, it's mostly about telling a story, not playing your detective game ( most of the time, in the quest with the vampire you can fuck up)

Not. When they released TW1, potential was there. Then they started pandering to consolefags and such, TW2 suffered from it, TW3 ended up being Skyrim 2.0 with somehow even worse exploration.

Tell me why first member of the Wild Hunt has three attacks (two different swings and summoning hounds while using a shield). Ah, he wasn't intended to be a unique boss. Literally dark souls tier shit, same about recycling bosses like Noonwraith (change its name, keep it in the game). Most of the enemies of the same type have literally copypasted animations, the only difference between them is a different model. But yeah, I'm confusing with dork souls, TW3 has way more total enemies you fight. The difference is that enemies in Dark Souls have different movesets while in TW3 you have 5x wraith AI + slightly changed model, 10x human AI + different armor (same VA though), 5x griffin AI + different models and 6x dogs + slightly changed models.

DD combat is gamey as fuck.
Everything is floatier, animations dont look realistic in the slightest, nothing has weight. Most of the time its spamming attack key without enemy reaction to it, and ofc the attack animation is like you're swining a pencil around really fast.

I have a bit of a problem with The Witcher 3. I just got a new computer with a GeForce GTX 970 card and I have this weird lag problem, dropping fps, stuttering... I looked for some way to fix it online with no luck.

I reinstalled the game, reinstalled the graphics drivers, tweaked the settings. Nothing seems to help.

Am I gonna have to get a new card?

DD had better combat. Dues Ex HR had better melee. Modded Skyrim had better combat. The only thing enjoyable about W3 combat is the endless amount of gimmicks you can use. And that is trumped by the souls games.
