How would Geralt fare in Westeros (Game of Thrones)?

How would Geralt fare in Westeros (Game of Thrones)?

He defeated the Wild Hunt, I think the White Walkers would too easy for him.

Gets BTFO by Gregor

He'd just roam around forests looking for little jobs

>Implying Geralt is a dex fag
He has both STR and DEX

He's a generic strong man

There are no monsters in Westeros so he wouldn't have any coin to buy weapons and shit. He would probably be some mook soldier or gold cloak in Kings Landing.

true but he'd get a crazy reputation sooner or later and when nobody or no creature even comes close to taking him he'll become an important player

That fight made me sad. It showed in both book and show that Dex prevails hardcore, but Oberyn's cockiness is what got him killed in the end. All he had to do was get his venom in him and wait it out.

Last time i checked Geralt is a Genetically modified human.

I don't think the Mountain will stand a chance against him.

Geralt can take out all the top swordsmen in Westboros by himself

I'm glad it played out like it did unlike Tyrion's little cut on his forehead and Theon looking like nothing happened to him

I think geralt would starve as not enough monsters for hunting.
Otherwise he would be a lone wanderer who just kills easily anyone who gets in his way.

*Westeoros

Nah Geralt got BTFO by a normal human tonnes of times. Jaime, Loras, Barristan and Arthur Dayne would BTFO him

Couldn't he become a merc like other Witchers?

>Jaime the one handed sister fucker could beat Geralt
Oh come the fuck on.

That faggot has to manipulate people out of castles instead of sieging it like a God damn man.

I'm talking about game Geralt

Wasn't it in Blood and wine a reference to the Mountain at the finale of the tournament?

>Becomes a legendary bounty hunter
>Becomes a wandering swordsman
>Becomes an assassin/bodyguard to a lord (ser Alonne style)
>Travels North and single handedly stops the White Walkers
>Travels East and fuck Daenerys

Whatever it is, he would've had an exciting life. Let's not forget he's a super strong, super tough, super fast mutant with a hundred years of life, chemistry and sword experience.

>witcher is coming

Appropriate. He'd probably be bored with no monsters and boink some girls while taking odd jobs.

I am pretty sure the HUGE human enemy type is inspired by the mountain

Jaime with his hand would destroy Geralt.
Besides One handed Jaime beat Rand Al Thor

He'd be faster and stronger than any human in their world, and has signs to manipulate people when he needs, shield himself, etc. He's experienced against dragons, resists a bunch of shit. Assuming he isn't a powerful figure ripe for assassination, he'd do fine. Might get caught by a sneaky peasant, but unlikely.
Probably be one of those overpowered characters that has no real role, but exists so there's a higher powerlevel than their current stupid strong character.

He'd end up working for the Night's Watch and doing a bloody good job.

There are also legends of monsters in some parts of Essos, like basilisks and obviously dragons.

>that guy who brings up the only fantast series worse than asoiaf

yes, it's a pretty obvious one

>whittles up a bunch of new gwent decks for the setting and becomes the lord of the cards

I really don't see Jaime beating Geralt. Not single handedly (no pun intended).

>Might get caught by a sneaky peasant
That's exactly the kind of thing his heightened reactions and senses help him avoid. He can figure out if people are lying by hearing their heartbeat.

Have you only played 3?

Jaime was a god tier fighter with his hands. Jaime would rape book Geralt. Not too sure about Game Geralt

This. He'll be some legendary swordsman that's a hero of his own story, but not the one we're in.

He could probably make a really good mercenary company or could pull a bronn/clegane and rise to the point where he is a powerful vassal.

Book Geralt, possibly. Game Geralt, no chance.

I played a bit of 2 but didn't really dig it all that much.

Can he actually do that or was he just bullshitting the guy to scare him?

>sitting on a wall, freezing my ass off is boring work for a witcher. And I'm not one for formalities and organized soldering. I'm going out beyond the wall to kill everything I find. I expect payment when I return.

Almost every Geralt fights humans in the books they're highly skilled assassins/mercenaries and he's always out numbered 1 to 5. I can't recall anyone jn GoT overcoming those odds

He murdered Snow White and her 7 mercenaries in seconds to become the Butcher of Blaviken

Well he was stabbed in the gut by a peasant with a pitchfork that pretty much lies to him. Gets Geralt's guard down. It's mentioned in 3, I think. Pretty sure it's in the opening of 2.

Removed the text from the photo. Looks better like this, I think.

Syrio forell

How would Letho fare in Westeros (Game of Thrones)?

The Night's Watch are the only guys involved in monster-hunting in Westeros. Maybe Geralt would just become a roamer north of wall and help wildlings out now and then. Or maybe he'd grow close to the Watch and turn it into a new Witcher school

Ends the civil war in a month by working for one of the rulers

Kingslayer!

Gregor is the peak of human ability but Geralt is a mutant trained from childhood to kill monsters bigger than him. That and Witchers fight dirtier than Oberyn.

>Game fags
Jesus. That's canonicaly how Geralt and Yennifer died, their bodies being whisked away to that Isle by Ciri.

Everything that happens next (coming back, joining the hunt in place of Yen, the amnesia) is game canon.

He's basically Gregor and Oberyn combined into one silly completely OP character who could obliterate anyone.

youre on v not lit idiot

Better question, how would Dandelion fare if he landed in Kings Landing midway through a Game of Thrones

You'd be delusional if you believe anyone in the ASOIAF universe would have a chance against Geralt. He's far more skilled and physically superior than anyone, even Jaime, Barristan or Arthur Dayne. If you add in potions or Signs it would be even worse.

I hope he gets plot armor somehow or he's fucked.

fuck game of thrones

ruining fantasy

>He doesn't know basic shit about the world of a game he's playing
Geralt and Yennifer dying at the hands of a regular peasant is a huge plot point not just for the books, but for the games as well.

If you failed to gather that, you should probably kill yourself.

I think a faceless man has a shot if he can get him when he's drunk

also potions are probably out because he's in another world with different plants and herbs

In one of the quests Geralt kills an ekimmara while blind drunk, maybe not even then.

He would never sit on the throne

I don't know anyhting about GoT but what would happen if some asshoe suddenly started selling virus, parasites and other mutated bullshit to whomevever could pay?

The Faceless men are sneaky assassins.
Without plot armor it's entirely possible one sneaks behind him and slits his throat while he's hanging out in a bar.

Of course, main characters never get killed like that, so it probably wouldn't work.

Eh, ASOIAF has a ton of zombies already. Like three entirely different groups of them.

Umbrella would go out of buisness.

He goes to court and becomes the blue bard. So not well.

convenient then that ASOIAF has no main character and anyone is fair game

>5 pages describing the drinks and the small meal at the dive bar
>minor section on the songs the bard is failing to compose a few stools nearby
>witcher is ingloriously slashed from behind and left to rot
>50,000 pages later, he was in a coma he purposely induced on himself and wakes up to hunt down the asshole and the real bad guy
>makes no real progress for 2 books that took 9 real time years to get to market

witchers literally have a 6th sense to sense when something's 'wrong' with their surroundings

why didn't he sense letho before it was too late?

Jaime with a pitchfork could probably do it

No they literally don't. Their medallions vibrate when magic is near, everything else is just experience. Just because Geralt is the most OP witcher doesn't mean every witcher has superman levels of sensing.

one-handed too

Because he's a Witcher too?

But does it have stuff like brainwashing parasite, angry lizard, invincible undead with eyes everywhere and really strong bald man?

This

Imlerith is like the Mountain on steroids, and Geralt kicked his ass.

>I think not
>are dragons lizards?
>yes
>yes

>Geralt
>celibacy

If you count magic, yes
Yes
yes
And yes.

Most of the Nights Watch don't take that bit seriously anyways.

>>Travels East and fuck Daenerys
>Geralt
>fucking fat chicks

u wot m8

probably just end up north of the wall

Steamrolling for 2 seasons and then getting killed by some stupid shit.

Bump before thread dies

Considering every moral person gets btfo except Jon Snow, I'd say he'd fare really poorly.

Ahahah no. Gregor is neither smart enough, strong enough or even slightly skilled enough to take on a witcher.

>One handed Jaime beat Rand Al Thor
Yeah no. I don't see how you think that makes any sense.

Rand would just Balefire the shit out of Jaime.

Is it? It has skeletons and dragons and wizards and demons in a prime time American TV setting. It's about the only way fantasy is even clinging on in the west.

>Balefire the shit out of Jaime.
Wrap his head in air and choke the life out of him, don't use a stone when a pebble will do.

Game Geralt would easily kill all the dragons.

Lord of the rings ruined it

Bump

It's shit writing, and the shows are degenerating into more shit.

Fantasy as a genre deserves better.

Dragonlance was more enjoyable, honestly.

>Besides One handed Jaime beat Rand Al Thor
How dumb are you?

Nothing? He'd be a character sure, but there are plenty of great fighters and charismatic men in westeros. He'd just be another dude.

Wasn't the point of one of the games that Geralt was just one man, and no matter what he can't resolve a largescale conflict between two nations because he just can't?

There are monsters in Westeros. They're just not as prominent because most of them died years ago.

Geralt wouldn't just be another mook solider, he'd probably be another mook sellsword, like Bronn.

Couldn't beat Geralt.

This.
Though he'd probably help with the white walkers.
Also his storyline would not be related with any of the big houses.

Will be hired by Quiburn, froze half of Daynerys fleet and kills her.

oh he would try to nope out of all the politics because muh neutrality but inevitably be incredibly entangled in it and end up killing people he doesn't want to over some petty political shit they wouldn't let him out of

>Fantasy as a genre deserves better.

It really doesn't. Fantasy was always the laughing stock of literature and mostly for good reasons.

What would trigger geralt?

there is a brienne reference too in one of the fist fights quests
