Planning to stream Outlast + it's DLC this week any advice?

Honestly I've never played this game and looks scary as hell. I'm worried about perhaps getting stuck or something kind of breaking the stream.
Any advice for a first timer?

yeah, don't

>videos that are hours long
Nigger, what the fuck are you doing?

I'll watch if female :)

Sometimes I get my girlfriend to play, but that's about it

Full girlfriend play through.

It starts off good then gets lazy with cheap horror antics and rigid play.

Some random notes:
First and foremost, expect to run and die a lot.
You can hide, but enemies will check hiding spots. If you get caught, it is practically an instant game over.
Video cam on/off makes no real difference as far as actual play. If you want your steam achievement, leave it on all the time.
Certain boss chases have to be played a certain way. Scissor man can be a bitch to deal with since he can outrun you in a lot of places while you're fumbling with locks and other bullshit.
The game will constantly cut off your progress with (non)surprise boss jumps and chokepoints. Check your surroundings and have a breakaway path ready.

Thanks!
This game looks really decent especially after seeing the trailer for Outlast 2.
Figured I need to finish this one first

what the fucvk is this.

a shill thread

How to make decent videos/do decent streams
>no facecam
>videos must be a reasonable amount of time, usually fifteen to thirty minutes, sometimes up to an hour
>commentary must be up to snuff, so play games you've already played because blind playthroughs are disasters
>if there are guest commentators, they should only be in videos every once in a while
>and if there are guest commentators, make sure they're entertaining, if they're not they have no reason to be there
>interact with the viewers, but never listen to them
>seriously, the viewers don't know anything about producing quality content, don't trust them
>and most importantly no shilling on Sup Forums

It's alright. Cheap jumpscares though.

You basically can't die if you keep running.

Thanks for the serious response.
I was planning to do face cam for this one, you'd say I shouldn't?
Also honestly didn't mean this as a shill thread, I just am on Sup Forums often so figured I'd ask you guys what you though.

>planning on streaming some shit game like a fucking moronic child this weekend
>any advice?

Sure, kill yourself.

This. Think I only got confused once 25% of way through when I was supposed to check the basement. Not played dlc

Subbing and if any of you bros want to help this tard you should too
Cause he can't play a game himself

Personally, I'd say don't do facecam, but no doubt some people might want it since it's a horror game. Just do what you feel most comfortable with and what you think would add most to the viewing experience. That being said, I'd highly recommend you do not use face cam for non-horror games though. No need to look at someome's face as they read through a wall of text in an RPG.

This. I like face cams in horror games and some puzzle games, otherwise, avoid it.

Thanks, in case anyone wants to see how it turns out should be around this time on June 5th

shill your garbage somewhere else

but why a game that's old and been covered to hell and back? unless you have some real special snowflake reactions or Todd level charisma, it isn't going to attract views.

Has anyone ever gotten famous for streaming/lets playing EYE?

No one knows what EYE is

>Has anyone ever gotten famous for streaming/lets playing EYE?
It gets a lot of requests still when I do PT or RE7. People like seeing people play games they like regardless of if it's new or not. But just not as much buss.
and I'm with what is EYE? I'd be down to try it

exactly

>TOPPATHEMORNINTOYALADDIESMYNAMEISJACKSPETICEYEANDWELCOME to something a bit... weird. This is an older game, it's been on steam. I actually got it for a dollar believe it or not and a few people have asked me to check it out and here we go....

Dude, stream yourself playing DreadOut. It's a better horror game and it hasn't been covered by fucking everyone already.

I'd watch you.

EYE divine cybermancy

The main game is only scary the first time through. After that, you'll be speedrunning it for fun. The DLC is more difficult though.

I'll try both of those, honestly DreadOut kind of seems interesting with the PS2 level graphics.
Most of why I'm streaming Outlast is cause Outlast 2 comes out this Fall so probably will be a great game to stream.

This post makes me sick. Please remove yourself from my board.

Tbh it's refreshing a streamer taking advice and requests

It's pretty easy at most, just watch it through if you're dat worried if you want a scarier game play alien isolation
