Played the game with my wife's son and I have to say it's better than I thought it would be. Weapon balance is the best in the series and custom games + forge are the best they've ever been

Onlyt thing Halo 5 did wrong besides the campaign was not make a remake of Never Forget and remove that sexy Halo 4 spartan laser fire sound.

This is a sign of desperation. The games population is getting so low that they are testing the waters now on if there is interest by making it free for a bit. Halo 5 might very well be the game that killed the franchise for good.

IDK the new warzone feature they implemented is very unforgiving to new players - it's difficulty is higher than the legendary campaign.

Doesn't matter since bad players will always be bad in most cases. CoD has a huge skill gap even though it is supposedly a casual series meant to appeal to the masses.

Halo 5 has been a huge failure and it has yet to sell more than even the first game. This series has seen a huge decline now.

Okay, I hope you are treating the smart scope in 5 like zoom in past games rather then like ADS, because even though it looks like ADS and by default is attached to left trigger like ADS in CoD, gameplay wise it's identical to zoom in past halos; in that you don't need it to be accurate, you can be shot out of it, and your movement speed is unaffected by it.

Doesn't matter if the franchise is going to keep declining. Halo 5 was also a rip off on launch with a ton of content missing. No splitscreen, no lan, no BTB on launch and no forge on launch.

Not him, but I agree with both of you: The actual mechanics, weapon balance, and gameplay in 5 is among the best the series has had, but it also had the least amount of content and ways to play the series has had, and even though that's been fixed by now, it isn't worth getting unless you can find it for like half off or really like playing Halo MM online.
