Just got this yesterday from Amazon, it is quite possibly the most comfortable controller I have ever held.

Everything about it is tight and responsive, including the d-pad. It has a DS3 style R2/L2, which I prefer. You can turn off the lights on the buttons.

If you need a new gamepad its definitely worth picking up while its on sale.

I love that thing, but digital triggers instead of analog ones.

Played through the entirety of Dark Souls 3, and halfway through new game plus on a single charge.

The buttons are weird though. 'A' on the pro controller is the same as 'A' on a x360 controller and so on, so the positions are different than normal.

Whether he does or doesn't its a major upgrade from my F710 and has a nicer dpad than a DS3 or DS4. Its actually a really nice gamepad.

I don't understand why we can't go back to this. It felt so good, and adding a few more buttons to it still wouldn't make it look cluttered. It's just a real clean design.

Can anyone vouch for the durability of this? It's basically a cheaper version of a DS4 and that makes me nervous since I've gone through 2 DS4's because of trigger and button problems

DS layout is better on PC. You can play 2D and 3D without any problems and for shooters and things like that you just use KB+M

Switching items is a pain in the ass in the Souls games with a DS. You can't move while doing it. On the Xbone/360 you can just do it with your Right thumb.

Of course not, I would never recommend the elite piece of shit or the steam controller. However I do feel that backbuttons are the logical next step for standard controllers and what the Scorpio, Neo and NX should have by default

The Wii U Pro is only analog triggers and having back buttons away from being perfect and needing nothing more ever added to it.

thats pretty much what I meant, the url I linked is a way to set your ds4 to be plug and play by installing it as an xbox 360 controller or something
