>house is in the worst village
fuck no

Lakeview

>not "building" your own house near Falkreath

Disgusting.

>comfy
>autumn forest, warmest region in the province
>balcony at the lake
>tanning rack outside, alchemy and enchanting inside
Please, Riften is one of the best cities in Skyrim, right next to Whiterun and Solitude.

Enjoy your giant attacks.

>filthy thieves fucking everywhere, even under your very own house
>whores and other scum
>ruled by corrupted inbred retards

Riften sucks ass

>not the one near solitude

lakeview hands down

Skyrim is a shit game and I'm pirating it again today just to piss you off, Todd.

There is NOTHING redeemable about that swamp.

Enjoy draugrs murdering your wife and children while you're out of your house.

>Not training your kids to fight by practicing on the occasional bandit it giant

So should I wait to choose the house until I've seen all the options?

markarth house was pretty cool

>leaving your house

Markarth has the best house. nice and roomy, fireplace right outside the bedroom, tucked away in a comfy little corner all the way at the top of the stairs.

inb4 17 year olds begin Toddposting

I can't be the only one who cringes hard when I see Toddposting, right? Right?

>Can't get Windhelm house without doing Civil War
Why isn't there a mod to make Balgruuf side with Ulric?

Enjoy sleeping on rocks homo erectus

Just buy Honeyside, trust me. It's the best house hands down.

...

It's so damn comfy.

>Whiterun is best town. Plenty of shopkeepers, simple layout, located right in the middle of Skyrim so it's a perfect place for a base
>The house there is the smallest shittiest house
>Doesn't even have an enchanting table so you have to smith all your shit and then plod up to Dragonsreach to enchant it

Fuck

But then you have to live in Markarth.

>Tfw I saved up to buy the house in the winter city ( i forget the name)

>So excited

>first thing I discover is blood on the godamn floor and then after moving most of my stuff in a secret butcher torture room

fuck that place I never moved out so fast in a game before.

I'm cool with my little dorm room in Winterhold desu.

Breezehome is alright, but Whiterun isn't really comfy at all.

Kill yourself you little fuck seriously it's not funny and never was, and I'm gonna cyberbully each one of you cunts until a percentage of you commit suicide

You can pay to clean up all the gore after solving the murder mystery

wasn't that bad, kinda reminded me of that house in anvil. loved that house

...

I love Whiterun. It's basically the most vanilla Skyrim town. And I absolutely love rolling hills-esque environments so traveling outside of Whiterun is maximum comfy. Plus the snow forests are like 2 feet away as well if you're into that.

I got the mod that adds a basement to Breezehome to fix all the problems with the shit it has, and I have never changed my house location.

nah fuck that, I moved into a house a long time ago that had a secret torture room and that shit brought flashbacks.

My only problem with the hearthfire homestead is, admittedly, because I'm a greedy prick in that I wish I could have ALL rooms options on one house.

A greenhouse, an enchanting tower, a library, an armory, a kitchen, a trophy room, all of it.

Also:
>tfw you adopt kids and need to carefully plan to trophy room's contents so if the kids accidentally stumble inside at night they don't flip the fuck out.

I mean, normally this wouldn't be a problem, but I've got a mod that expanded the gifts I could give them and they're packing dragonbone swords and bows/arrows.

I also wish I could hire a damn tutor to come teach my kids. I mean, shit, I'm with both Bards College and Winterhold College, I should be able to pay someone to be willing to take some time to come over and teach my kids.

Feel free to grab any house you see/that opens up. You'll have enough gold eventually to tank the entire Tamrielic economy through inflation soon enough.

Randomly, another thing that annoyed me about owning a home in Skyrim: no ability to throw parties and such.

I mean, shit, I would have loved to host a party with my fellow hold thanes and introduce my kids to some of the other children.

>that awkward but so natural feel of slipping into your bedroom during your party so you can change and finding Balgruuf fucking Elisif on your bed

Actually, you should be able to get it after the civil war under the new jarl. Unlocking the house involves first learning about the murders, which, I'm not sure requires your allegiance.

Vote best house
strawpoll.me/10662879

Your house had a secret torture room? The fuck?

Forests are much comfier than rolling hills IMHO

I prefer my vampire keep.

could you give details about this torture room?

I like the Whiterun house because it's actually the only somewhat proper/believable city in Skyrim, while using Lakeview manor as a sort of resort house (and only me gets to use it, wife and kids have to stay in Whiterun)

>100+ mods
>every survival/immersion mod I could find
>perma death mod
>living in Whiterun tavern
>spend day hunting outside city with my pupper companion, crafting items with the skins I collected, cooking the meat, ect.
>come home at night, drink mead and fuck/impregnate my waifu

Vanilla Skyrim is fucking awful, but it can be pretty great heavily modded.

Shit, Breezehome's got good memories for me, it was my first home in Skyrim. I fondly remember this particular Random Encounter outing:
>My DB wakes up one morning and decides to go hunting to stock the larder
>Heads out of whiterun and keeps trying and failing to snag some deer (heavy armor, everyone)
>Finally get one
>Look up and notice I'm in a giant camp
>Fuuuuuuuck
>Survive the giants and mammoths with a lot of run and shooting
>kill them
>Notice I wandered into a crevice where bandits were hiding
>For the love of Jone and Jode, really?
>Kill bandits
>Start to head back
>Random woman comes up and tells me she escaped capture from a fort controlled by bandits that I SWORE I CLEARED OUT LAST MONTH
>Decide it's my duty as thane and Dragonborn
>clear the place out
>Shit, it's noon (in-game)
>Start to head back
>SUDDENLY! DRAGON ATTACK!
>Alkosh's double barbed dick, seriously?

That little outing pretty much made me think that was EXACTLY what a day-in-the-life of the average Dragonborn was.

Also, as for any shortcomings with breezehome: mods, yo.

>breaking your immersion with mods

Tell me some essential mods for that kind of playthrough

>secret torture room

>implying there aren't plenty of mods that don't enhance immersion
>Implying there aren't plenty of vanilla skyrim aspects that hurt immersion

Were you using Skyrim Family life overhaul to impregnate her or Beeing Female?

Also, another very rich experience in Skyrim:
>Playing with Daughteru Lucia in the tree plaza in Whiterun
>See a bunch of strange men in Akaviri-knock-off Dragon Priest masks coming up from the Plains district
>Tell Lucia to go home
>"But momm-"
>"NOW!"
>"Awww"
>She's clear just as they come up to me
>Alright, you fuckers, do you want your asskicking here or home delivered?

It was like right out of some kind of Skyrim movie.

Nigga that second paragraph was cringeworthy

Maybe /tesg/ is more suited for you

I suspect it's mostly 30-40 year old manchildren.

Skyrim has been out for like 5 years now and there's still
>No questline overhaul/randomizer mod
>No mod to make Balgruuf join the Stormcloaks
>No mod to make Serena dragonborn
>No mod to make combat not terrible
>No mod to make magic not terrible
>No mod to make cities a believable size because "muh world space"
>No good FMA mods
Fucking HOW?

Hunterborn
Realistic needs
Frostfall
Wet and cold
Lootifcation + tons of armor/weapon/misc item mods
Various combat mods
Hentai pregnancy
Sexlab
Plus tons more. I would post the full list, but I'm not at my computer at the moment.

Hey, at least there is sex mods amirite guise ?

it has a fishery, fish are fantastic for alchemy

So does Lakeview.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for, there's a ton of mods available for magic, city overhauls, combat, etc.
I was surprised at the amount of Witcher mods

>No questline overhaul/randomizer mod
Pretty sure that exists

>No mod to make Balgruuf join the Stormcloaks
Not sure this exists

>No mod to make Serena dragonborn
Think you could do this with Console Commands. (tricky part is if she'll use any of her shouts)

>No mod to make combat not terrible
>No mod to make magic not terrible
Define 'not terrible' and I'm fairly sure there's plenty of mods out there that help with both of those.

>No mod to make cities a believable size because "muh world space"
I've seen people add more buildings and shops as well as the settlement area immediately around the cities, as well as expansion of the non-loadscreen cities, but sadly few of them that actually increase the loadspace of the cities.

This one might just need multiple mods though to look up.

>no good FMA mods
That I can't help you with at all.

It had sound proof walls and all sorts of shit happened down there I don't even want to think about it.

How did you discover it? Why would you even buy the house?

lakeview has the apiary not the fish hatchery

I'm so fucking mad right now.

Yeah but they all suck unless you have zero standards.

0sex disagrees with you and calls you a dumb faggot.

>being a gun-obsessed burger
Guns were made to kill people, it's time to grow up and face facts.

Might not have been made for torture, just keeping an insane relative locked up so they don't shame the family or because the family felt they could provide better care than sanitariums at the time. They likely could

Think like the Last Dwemer under What's-his-name's house.

I demand you to delete this.

Okay I'll bite

>No questline overhaul/randomizer mod
How would you do that in a way that wouldn't break the game or it'd require a shitton of work for no pay off since nobody plays Skyrim anymore?

>No mod to make Balgruuf join the Stormcloaks
Wouldn't that go against his character? He doesn't want to pick a side. Might as well make a mod to make Tulius join the Stormcloaks.

>No mod to make Serena dragonborn
... why? You're the Last Dragonborn.

>No mod to make combat not terrible
Damage Multiplier

>No mod to make magic not terrible
Midas, Lost Grimoire and Apocalypse

>No mod to make cities a believable size because "muh world space"
That'd require remodeling the entire area in a lot of places since a lot of stuff can't have architecture built on. Again a lot of work with no payoff.

>No good FMA mods
Not sure what that is. Full Metal Alchemist?

I'm not saying that Skyrim isn't terrible and wouldn't benefit from a better story, gameplay and world. I'm saying there's a reason why these mods haven't been made.

I didn't buy it moved into it with a friend because it was up for rent by a roommate . We weren't notified and found it by accident.

But there's nothing wrong with better mental health care, as long as they include counseling along with medication.

I personally feel better mental healthcare is the best but also the trickiest solution.

Removing guns simply takes away a means, but if someone is deadset on harming another, gun or no gun will not keep them from hurting someone they want to hurt, and in today's society, too many people will refuse or cannot defend themselves when their life is in danger.

actually, weird question: do you want serana to be dragonborn or just to know shouts?

I mean I suppose in theory it would be a cool mod where as Dragonborn you could go on a quest to learn to teach Thu'um to others and start training followers.

Yes I'm fine with mental and background checks. I'm booty blasted about "all of these" cuckold choice winning.

W-why are you doing this?

Okay I admit that looks fantastic, but it looks like it needs a ton of graphics mods to be decent, and I don't have room in my load order

Since you seem pretty knowledgeable, can you tell me what are the best/most immersive sex mods and how to install them? I'm afraid I don't have the patience to slog through sexlab and spend 1 hour to install them and then 10 hours to make them work.

>and I don't have room in my load order
Nigga merge some mods. Also it's stand alone. Just install some bodies and shit with HDT physics for tits dicks and vagoos.

That and the mod creator said he wasn't going to work on it unless he thinks people want him to aka give me more endorsements, patreon bucks and nexus positive comments

You want comfy motherfucker? I'll give you comfy youtube.com/watch?v=Jfatj32zT9M&index=96

Get out of my house thread.

What's the point of doing anything if it doesn't increase your e-fame?

It's basically complete anyway. Yeah he made some drama because of Skyrim 2.0 but who gives a tit.

What's the point of having a house if you don't have a wife to fuck in it.

Be dragonborn. I figure that if the player is the last dragonborn, and Miraak was the first, that there had do be others in between. The only ones that could live long enough for the player to meet would have to be immortal.

Plus, I can get Serena and Miraak as followers, so having a 3Dovahkiin team fight Alduin would be pretty baller.

>open windows in an arctic climate
So close.

But I have a wife. Her name is Ysolda, and turns out she's a fucking drug dealer
How do I get a divorce

Maybe it's really warm inside.

Constant Bandit and Giant attacks, the worst part being the fucking Giant spawns inside the house when you're outside and you can just hear the dopey cunt mong out. Fucking hell why are Bethesda games so atrociously buggy, and then never patched?

Kill her.

Or get the Divorce mod but it tends to bug out and not let you remarry.

>Nigga merge some mods
I can't manage to do that without getting invisible items, NPCs, etc. even on mods where the merges have been tested.

Serena isn't dragonborn

>best house
>not the one in Markarth

do you even comfy?

Sorry user, but most of the vanilla houses are boring to me. I bought Breezehouse, but I spend more time in houses from mods. Is that ok?

There is no way it's warm inside. I would buy that house if it was in South Cyrodiil.

b-but it's a magic Bosmer house with warm baths inside!

I'm not giving up that easily! youtube.com/watch?v=esi-bmUCTag

Why are there so many damn Skyrim threads now? This game is over, played and talked to death, you fags need to go back to /vg/

Only if you drop a proportionate amount of gold after installing the mod. Can't have free houses appear out of thin air after all, can we?

That's why I need a mod to make her one

Dicks are always relevant to TES hombre.

Here you go anyway famalamb: the best house mod ever youtube.com/watch?v=7Kn5Z98ECxo

Consider me won over, minus the fact that I can't have my spouse and children live there :/

Where is the treehouse located?

I actually just picked it up recently and am playing through it.

Also it's the first Elder Scrolls game I've played seriously, after playing 5 minutes of Morrowind and hating every second of it.

Does that make you mad?

The sex mods I'm using are the ones I listed. So, I'm not too knowledgeable about those types of mods. But to get started, you need XPMS/FNIS, the sexlab framework, and then what ever addons you want. I'm just using HP. Install using wrye bash. You'll also need body replacers, which you'll have to install manually. There's tons to choose from.

there's been skyrim threads every day for 5 years, you just haven't noticed them.

also, skyrim's getting a remaster in a few months and most of us are getting it for free on pc so it's an excuse to go back and play the game again for the first time in ages

also, Vlindrel Hall = best home
