that one
You just posted it
Rayman M
Dreamcast.
is rayman 3 as good as 2nd on ps2? just finished the second and loved it, just not sure bout 3rd
>there will never be a rayman 3
not as good as 2, but still pretty good.
Also, prepare for a lot of 4th wall breaks
PSX version with N64 voices
Dreamcast
Mood whiplash. If your just coming off 2 and hopping right onto 3. Rayman 3 is still a fun game and controls much better than Rayman 2, the game is just alot more self aware.
>recommending the PSX version ever
PS2 if you dig the added hub world and voiceovers. Dreamcast if you want the original game with best graphics/performance.
I highly recommend it
Though it's not as good as 2
SEE YOU IN RAYMAN 4
>recommending the version with the least levels and entirely different final boss fight.
Best Tier
>Dreamcast
>Revolution
>PC
>N64
BAD TIER
>DS
>IOS
AWFUL TIER
>PSX
>3DS
PC of course.
The only decent thing the psx version has is playing the beta of Rayman 2.
It's a horribly chopped down port overall
user please ;-;
put 3ds over ds and im with you.
is more playable than ds, even with the glitch
What is the ps2 version like compared to the n64? I never even knew it was released on ps2 and I loved it on the Nintendo
Just you wait until Banjo Threeie
rayman 2 had a dark fantasy vibe that the series never returned to
why is that?
PC was a port of N64 so no.
it feels like a whole new game, you can power up rayman (he starts like shit now), there's a hub world, some levels were edited, more boss fights, and the difficult is harder.
>the post literally right above this
pic related has the right idea
>yfw rayman 4 was cancelled and turned into rayman raving rabbids
>yfw a new 3d rayman entered development but was cancelled due to the poor sales of rayman legends
The way developers use half-assed bullshit to "gauge interest" is fucking retarded
>let's divert money from giving the fans what they're asking for to make something totally different to see how much they really want what they're asking for
>even though the other thing is probably total shit
Is it so farfetched that Ubisoft could publish a Wild Sheep Studio developed Rayman game in the same spirit as Rayman 2, and looks kinda like this?

I know it's subjective but which would you say is better?

N64 if you want the vanilla experience (pc/dc are also an option)
PS2 if you want a harder challenge
Is the actual game play any better? like smoother control etc?
at first it feels sluggish because Rayman is more limited, but after upgrading it feels like the same game in terms of controls.
Also, dont expect constant 60fps
>ubisoft downgrades downgraded rayman 4 to a party game
Is Rayman Advance a fine alternative to Rayman 1?
even on solid components? i5 and 290x
>abandoning Rayman 4 for Raving Rabbids
Fucking shameful.
Little Screen + Awful music doesnt make it justice, play the psx or dsi version
idk about ps2 emulation, but just looked some videos and it looks fast
Blame the wii for that
If you have a Dreamcast - play it there. If you don't have a dreamcast - play on PS2 or emulate the PS2 port.
>They even showed a trailer
I don't know but I loved this kind of grim, dreamy world
>Be stupid kid
>Didn't hear that Raving Rabbids got turned into minigames
>Got it for Christmas
>Boot it up, excited for the next Rayman installment
>I literally bought a Wii just for Rayman
Why? Fuck Ubisoft
>tfw i agree that DC is the best vanilla version objectively
>tfw i can't deal without the shitty n64 midis. I just prefer them to the high quality tracks from the dreamcast version
