HOW BOUT THEM INDIE GAMES?

Stardew Valley is really nice.

What should I upgrade? and no I am fine with my current monitor.

get a SSD and a better gpu. maybe the 480rx

Get a 480 or a 1070 depending on the range of your budget

>6700K
>H170 mobo
Enjoy your wasted money and potential

Upgrade the gpu and get an ssd

Who /980ti/ here
Who /1440p 144hz/ here

Weak GPU. Like you bought a weak GPU to begin with which was a mistake so now it's aging fast, unless you are OK with it. The best overall upgrade is switching to an SSD. 500GB Samsung 850 EVOs go for like $120. Requires reinstalling windows but worth it for great day to day use. GPU is obviously the better upgrade for purely video games.

2x 780 and 1080p@144

LE 1070S AND 1080S STILL SOLD OUT

PLEASE BUY OUR FOUNDERS EDITION PLS PLS PLS ITS TOTTALLY NOT ARTIFICIAL LIMITATION SO WE CAN SELL U THE SAME EXACT SHIT FOR AN EXTRA 100 BUCKS LE

Building my first PC, friends said it's fine, opinions?

Just built this as my first desktop in 12 years. Sucks cuz I kinda want to get a 1070.

>R9 200
which one do you have?

i am here with a R9 280X and everything runs still on high-ultra on FullHD

Built this 2 years ago.

R9 290 Sapphire Vapor-X

Anyway to make PC for 500$ or less and able to run games as good as xbone and ps4?

you're fine bro. thats a decent build will, run a lot of shit on ultra

could definitely go with a cheaper case though. if you plan utilizing steam and play games like GTA V or like to mod, get a bigger solid state. i have a 500gb and it filled quick

Anyone know how the i3-6300 or i3-6320 would perform on current AAA games?

amd cpu and nvidia graphics. it runs things really good

why the fuck did you buy a K cpu if you are going to buy a mobo that wont even allow overclocking.

you're a dumb dumb

>amd gpu

well no shit. dumb dumb would do this

R8 my build

wasting money getting the m.2

sata 3 ssd would be fine and cost half the price. btw dumbass you don't even need an aftermarket cpu cooler if you aren't overclocking...also bitfenix is shit, get fractal design

Vaffenculo
Move your finger out the way, love

not yours/10

howgirlstakepics.jpg

I'm getting a new fan tomorrow so don't worry about the cpu temp

Should I get an SSD first or GPU?

Building a bartop arcade.
Still haven't finished everything.
The hardware cost me about 200USD.
It has;
Intel G3258 (45USD)
ASUS H81M-C motherboard (30USD)
4GB DDR3 RAM (12USD)
Antec EarthWatts 500w PSU (15USD)
EVGA 750 Ti SC (70USD)
1TB WD Blue HDD (30USD)

make quick question
get bumped up by memes (a.k.a )

...

Some are great. Most are shit. Kinda like all videogames in general tbqh.

I will be building my machine soon, will be using linux annd using a vm with hardware passthrough for windows games.
Does the amount of hyperthreads impact gaming performance when in a vm? I don't know if I should get a 6700k or a 5820k.

Um most vidya depends on your GPU. CPU just affects base loading along with your hard drive. Don't quote me on this but CPU doesn't really matter too much for gaming.

If all you're doing is gaming go for Skylake. Since you're using Linux and VMs, instead of dual-booting like a normal person, make sure you spend 50% more to get equivalent Windows performance.

would a 750Ti be enough if you aren't gonna be playing very demanding games?

Any good 1920 x 1200 monitors anyone has to recommend?

I'm trying to hold on to 16:10 for as long as I can, even with it starting to fizzle out.

Let's post best PC exclusives, I'll start, pic related

A good CPU to pair with a GTX 970 that's below $200?

How demanding is very demanding?
You should just google benchmarks for games you plan on playing.

Sad thing is, I'd buy an EVGA founder's edition and they're sold out fucking everywhere.

I see what you did there.

What did everyone buy during the sale?

I got:
Subnautica
Sleeping Dogs definitive edition
fault - milestone one
Cloudlands : VR Minigolf
Fantastic Contraption
Far Cry 4
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City
Grand Theft Auto IV
Job Simulator
The Fruit of Grisaia
The Lab
Tilt Brush
Windlands

Where is your Power Supply?

Implying _____________
isn't the best PC exclusive

So my friends helped me build a gayman pc three years ago, and it's still going strong. I have little idea what kind of maintenance or upkeep I need to do on the hardware though. I occasionally blow compressed air into the case to get rid of the dust, but stuff like applying thermal paste sounds less fool-proof.

What do I need to do to keep my computer in shape, and how do I avoid fucking it up?

Plus Rome1 Total War because I planned on playing it on my toaster portable, but it can't even run that acceptably.

pccomponentes.com/presupuesto.php?id=365619&name=pedo&procesador=68572;1&placa=67052;1&ventilador=99122;1&memoria=96974;1&disco=81096;1&disco2=0;1&torre=83733;1&fuentes=72338;1&tgrafica=101278;1&tsonido=0;1&lector=0;1&grabadora=0;1&monitor=0;1&teclado=0;1&raton=0;1&altavoces=0;1&sintonizadora=0;1&adaptador_red=0;1&instal_so=no;1&montado=no;1&so=0;1

rate this budget PC for less than 800€

>mfw I will NEVER be good at cable management

All I want is overwatch on max settings with 60fps
how Do I make it happen in less than two hundred dollars

MGR
Dark Souls 1
Deus Ex
Deus Ex HR
Batman Arkham City GOTY
Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY
Fallout NV Ultimate Edition
Huniepop

Pullin the trigger on this when I get home

pretty sure a RX 480 should it

I'm good until 1080 TI comes along. Might get another SSD, actually.

Just tabbed out of overwatch. What should I upgrade?

>girl

>CPU
6700k
>Motherboard
Hero VIII
>GPU
MSI Radeon R9 290
>Cooling
Corsair H100i v2

Do you guys think I should save up and get a 1070 or a 1080?
Also I'm gonna invest and get a better ssd with more space

get a SSD

But the memes said that its not a good card!
(I dont know shit about this stuff but I saw some graphs that saids its not 2 good)
is there nothing better for that price point?

make sure there's a fire extinguisher in the vicinity of your case

depends.
the cards are really only worth it if you want 1440p or 4K.

you know the CPU doesn't come with a stock cooler right?

You guys did pretty good this year

is that an old price or something?

thanks, i'm new pretty new to PC gaming and mostly played fightan during 2009-2012 so this sale was a great way to catch up on games i missed

Well the R9 290 runs like an oven and isn't that great. Any ideas on a card that's better for less than a 1070 or 1080?

Fuck Technomancer, I fell for the LOL SPACE WITCHER meme.

the RX 480 should be fine, though wait for aftermarket editions

I built a gaming laptop as I am only ever home one day out of the week except to sleep.

Using i7 6920 chip, GTX 980M vid card and 32gb of ddr5 ram. 2tb hdd

...

>I built a GAMING LAPTOP

32GB of ram but no SSD?

What's the point of making a powerful gaming PC when you have no games for it?

what do i upgrade

ignore the 970.

...

Is there a CPU comfier than unlocked Sandy Bridge?

>built a gaming laptop
>"ddr5" ram
>2tb MECHANICAL HARD DISK DRIVE

Getting games for it of course

XD

xbox is better than a gaming pc for the same price, pc drones btfo

Smoke alarms.

>no arguments
>resort to memeposting
yep, I'm in Sup Forums

That's more or less all of it. You can do some stress tests to check if everything is alright.

After 4-6 years change thermal paste on CPU and GPU. Buy thermal paste, clean the old one with rubbing alcohol and fibre sheet, apply small amount of new thermal paste.

Consider reinstalling the OS onto an SSD. You may also get a new GPU if you want better graphics after few years.

A well set up computer works for decades.

...

when is the rx 470 and 470 being released?

All I do is play WoW and herthstone

explain

maybe 16 gigs of ram and more storage
