My eldest brother dedicated a large chunk of his life solving that game. I was too terrified of the FPS Doom-like indoor segments of the game to pull it off.
Also the sheer amount of ground you have to cover to win the game, with no way of recording your progress (neither by saves, nor by passwords) was fascinating.
