This is the first time I've actually been excited for a video game in years.

I played Pirate's Curse the whole way and really the gameplay was pretty good, especially the new game plus. The only things that really disappointed me were that bosses, for the most part, were HP sponges that relied on having (mega) monster milk at hand. Also I literally hate every single character that's considered part of the "protagonists" group, they all felt like horrible tropes in the form of 2D pixel people. Ammo Baron and Risky probably were the reasons I kept playing, after the fact that the gameplay was solid. Oh yeah the music was pretty awesome too, shame some songs were only there for like a few minutes and couldn't be revisited.

Maybe this game isn't for me, but I still have yet to play the first one but I'm waiting for my physical copy to come in the mail.

I skipped on backing it, but I'll probably pick up a physical copy yeah.

It looks like an average platformer, so no. Maybe on sale.
