The whole time I was playing MGR I kept on having large smiles on my face because of things like that. There are a lot of things like that in the game, not just in the cutscenes but in the codecs and even in the fights.

I'm referring to the fight before that, when you fight her dad, I forget his name now. The first time you play it, it feels like he's the final boss. And then after that, they throw the real final boss fight at you.

Getting Naked Jehuty and fighting Anubis was pretty cool.

Unique, but really clean. Each unite morph is different from each other and drawing them on the right stick feels more like fighting game inputs. Combat feels free and flows nice.
Major complaint is that it does the normal Platinum thing and breaks up combat with some minigame every so often.

like in bayo, you can buy stuff that powers you up, and attacks that can gives you more variety, as well as defensive maneuvers, it is reccomened to get the guard and dodge skill as soon as you can so you can have a decent chance to fight back while trying to get used to the controls
and once you do it, it's a fucking blast
keep in mind that since it's a platinum game, it would probably feel short, and it encourages multiple playthroughs for 100% and for score/rank attack

I played ZOE1 to completion, but I got kind of sick of ZOE2. ZOE1's missions were repetitive, but not as bad as ZOE2. What was the actual point of thge minefield mission? She tells you where to go to avoid the mines, right, but you can just fucking fly up and completely avoid them. The one where you're looking for the crate with the survivors, and it constantly moves around and it's unclear where you're going or what you're doing. Also, that one where you have to carry her mech up a collapsing dynamo tower while fighting enemies was infuriating. I think that's where I dropped the game, if I remember correctly.
