Hearthglen (around 2005)
>countless hours
>not countless YEARS
This place. Wasn't the comfiest or anything, but goddamn the xp/magic was insane.
it would be redundant. You may as well post the whole fucking game
>grinding hillies far into the morning for 60 attack when you didn't know any better
>piling onto 30 people at Catherby
>comfy monkfishing and talking about Swan Song with new people
>Cammy (Yews)
Fun stuff
I had fun grinding my dick in your mom's vagina breh
You can just buy it from the merchant.
hurr durr nice contribution
Especially that fucking rock.

Is that fucking Mu?
Yeah.
I just grinded the one area with the random enemies to find new abilities for Gau.
Those who remember the total chaos of na release dunes should feel special. It was a glorious time.
No one ever went there except to do the Tirion Fordeong quest chain end
The place was kind of an enigma to me and I loved exploring that place for secrets as well as the other huge scarlet crusade base in eastern plaguelands
Ah to be a noob again
>Mu online
Good times, you didnt need to grind shit though since you could just alt-tab and lock that skill with the ghost thingies.
is that a texture mod for WoW?
No such thing. Fuck grinding, it is the main reason I never once enjoyed FFXI.
...
if you're having fun, why not repeat it and have more fun?
think about it
Probably the most fun I ever had in any online game I've ever played was Kurzick Fast Faction Farming in the Echovald Forest. The atmosphere there was the very definition of perfect for me. No other game I've played has come close to the level of satisfaction that GW1 gave me.
Not really a lot of fun, but it didn't feel like that much of a chore. Mowing down thousands of zombies in a high speed car has some fun value.
AM hours, early vanilla, pulling shit loads of mobs and kiting them around on my mage until they died. Sometimes I would die too if I fucked up because I was wearing greens/blues like everyone else.
Comfy as fuck.
>You will never grind giant grubs and water elementals for hours for your epic mount again
Part of me misses when people actually just went out into the world and actually killed things to make money
Is that Tyr's hand or whatever? Thats where the big boys went to farm. Off limits to scrubs like me.
Sometimes I would hop over to Dalsons farm but anywhere else and I'd get my shit wrecked.
>mfw one day I was feeling myself and went to try to AoE at the Writhing Haunt
I really miss that sense of danger.
Plagelands was one of my favorite zones.
...
...
no one understands my pain
wait wtf, someone knows my pain
yeah it is. I recall the one time I got to go farm there for a while and it was amazing. There was just so many places in oldwow I went to once or twice because it was too hard to do.
I just remember grinding scarlets in vanilla.
i want to go back.....
>talking to people
>buffing noobs
>hitting on bitches
>doing pixie
>hump macros
good times, good times.
most ents i knew were into some master/slave erp which was entertaining
fuck off wow sucks it killed sandbox MMOs
...
...
cause there is no fun and doing anything over and over again stops being fun
Shit user, this hit me hard with nostalgia.
>be Tauren Druid with Talbuk mount and bird form in BC
Shit was so imposing.
Sometimes went to the Yurzorea continent right after I got the ship to fight agianst monsters almost double my level. They were pretty easy to kill thanks to fatal strikes-
I spent a lot of time here maxing out my materia in order to get all the master materia.
Somehow I found this fun when I was younger.
ARK
in hindsight, I wasted so much fucking time in that game grinding resources and taming dinosaurs
I finally stopped after I finished a big ass electrical lighthouse on a seaside cliff
Eastern and Western Plaguelands have always been my favorite zones in the games. So many little details. Also the quests that lead you through the different farms and what happened to them during the plague in WPL are fantastic.
>Be a doctor
>Get to hang out with entertainers all the time
>One day in Anchorhead an Imperial Beast Trainer dumps 3 max level Rancors in the middle of the town
We were in heaven.
