What are your opinions on those games you've been playing.
>Factorio I typically hate these kinds of games but it is fucking phenomenal. >Dragons Dogma Pretty good, much better than it was on ps3 though. Still rough around the edges. Fun as fuck in spots, aggravating in others.
>FF9 I've played almost every ff except for this one. So far it's pretty good. Vivi is qt.
Caleb King
I forgot how terrible the Resident Evil games were before RE4.
Liam Morris
I've got limited exposure to Zero, but I liked what I played of it.
The RE1 remaster is easily the best RE game in my opinion.
Kevin Turner
>I typically hate these kinds of games Do you have ADHD perchance? >So far it's pretty good Should've emulated probably. The mobile/Steam version doesn't look all that good. Anyway, it's the best game in FF series, you're in for a treat.
Leo Adams
>Fallout: New Vegas Best Fallout after Fallout 2, Obisidian showed Cuckthesda how it's done
>Please, Don't Touch Anything Fun indie game, you have to unlock 25 endings by pressing a button. It's pretty dope.
>Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic Best Star Wars game ever made, Revan best jedi/sith.
Kayden Hughes
>Do you have ADHD perchance? Nah, I just don't have the patience. Most games like these just feel slow to me, but there is so much shit going on with factorio that I'm always busy.
>emulate Yeah, you're probably right. It doesn't look too bad though.
Jack Garcia
9 is best FF
Nathaniel Adams
The items management is a pain in the ass, and I have no idea what to do with certain items because they don't give you enough information. Older games like this are impossible without a guide.
For example, they give you a jewelry box with a important item in it, but there is no information on how to open it. I was suppose to examine the item and then press the enter key to open the box, but the screen did not show that I had the option to open it.
One of the characters has a lighter, but it's empty. The game doesn't tell you that it's empty. You have to add lighter fluid to it, but it doesn't tell you that. I was carrying the lighter fluid and it took up precious inventory space because I had no idea what to do with it.
Joseph Garcia
>TW3 Playing through the Hearts of Stone for the first time. I got it when it came out, but didn't play, because got burned out on Witcher. Started a new game on Death March this time. >DDDA Just launched it to check on my pawn. >TMNT A friend got me into buying this game to co-op with him, he's an avid turtle fan. It's okay, although could be cheaper. The problem most people have with it, is that they don't understand that this is meant to be a homage to arcade TMNT games, short levels, fun boss fights, beating the high scores etc.
Carter Torres
I'm playing Dragon's Dogma but I'm getting weird screen tearing.
Using a 1070, so maybe it's a thing with the new card that hasn't been patched. I really love the game, so this is bugging me a lot.
Blake Jenkins
>witcher 3 I've started a file on this I don't know how many times.
Something always catches my attention and draws me away from the game. I've got almost 80 hours on it and have never gotten out of Velen.
Isaac Powell
>God Eater Resurrection Massive improvement over burst, the new features added help make the game feel more than just a remaster with some extra content. It's also cheap as fuck so I'd recommend giving it a try.
>Furi Played up until the middle of the second boss and it's really fun. I like the music and the art style. Its simple, and not overly complex which is the perfect combination for a boss rush game.
Nolan Taylor
Played Stardew Valley for an hour and refunded it. It's not a bad game it's just not something I want to spend a lot of time on.
Brandon Richardson
Im loving resurrection on my vita. Just beat the difficulty 6 missions earlier it was a great ride. Can't wait to see the stuff after I hope it's still as good.
Lucas Stewart
>UT2004 Yay, it's that game I liked on xbox, but with more content or something.
>RCT Roller coasters are impossible. Fill every park with 50 go-kart tracks.
>Unreal Hated most enemies. Hated most weapons. Loved the game.
>Tabletop Will be fun if I ever convince friends to buy it.
Zachary Foster
>Will be fun if I ever convince friends to buy it.
Yeah, the versatility is great. I've been playing MtG with friends quite a bit. Secret Hitler is fun as well.
Kayden Russell
FALLOUT 4, Life is Strange, Mortal Kombat X, Until Dawn, Dark souls III
Angel Clark
>Will be fun if I ever convince friends to buy it.
Yes it will.
Carter King
I played through Max Payne 1 and 2 this weekend, but decided not to play 3.
And I just finished VA-11 Hall-A a few minutes ago. What a great little game.
Robert Thompson
>VA11-HALL-A Pretty chill. Enjoying the music and how Jill interacts with the world in tiny ways through her services. Just got to third chapter.
>Furi Was free on PS+, got to finishing the 3rd boss before taking a break. Very fun yet simple game so far.
>Ys Origins Never played much Ys before aside 7 and Memories of Celceta. Definitely much cooler than the party system. Got me pretty excited to try out Oath in Felghana after beating it with all the characters .
Jaxson Allen
>Shadow of the Colossus
Breddy gud, though the two colossuses that were only the size of a bull or so were kinda boring.
>Battlefleet Gothic
My only complaint is that I wish the battles were bigger. Otherwise, love it, don't regret paying full price for this one.
>Dawn of War Dark Crusade w/ Titanium Wars mod
It adds a lot of stuff that frankly should have been in the game to begin with.
But these fucking stronghold missions are insane.
Who are you siding with in New Vegas?
Nicholas Evans
>shilling VN waifushit
stop
Parker Wood
Currently doing a House run, but I'm usually for Legion/House. You?
Luis Martin
>ETS2 Comfy trucking, put on some music and I can lose myself. >ESJ Picked this up this sale for 50 cents, quite challenging and a neat little game. >Stardew Very addicting, having fun with it.
Brayden Mitchell
All about huntan today.
HU 2010: The reason why I even tried hunting games, stumbled upon a free copy and remembered I played this years ago. Still pretty good, looks like garbage but plays well enough.
theHunter: Great game kind of ruined with microtransactions. You get a free rifle and shotgun with different ammo types but you can only hunt three types of animals plus two more on weekly rotation unless you pay. Every other piece of gear, from weapons to hunting tools, you have to paid an assload of real money for. Worse, free to play currency (only useful to buy consumables and timed-limited animal licenses) is tied to doing quests and there's a limited number of them. Would be great if it was like a regular sixty buck game.
Witcher 3 I didn't actually play today, just launched to take a screenshot, so fuck it. Instead I played Cabela's Big Game Hunter Pro Hunts: Probably the best hunting game available atm. Looks good, plays great, no microtransaction bullshit so actually comfy... problem is it has a bug that corrupts your save at some point. Still want it but sadly missed the chance to buy it cheap so had to pirate that shit.
Connor Ortiz
That's 4 years worth of Dota 2 hours. But still a lot of it is spectating. I watch all tournaments that I care about in game.
Mason Young
I went with Yes Man on my first run, though I admit part of me kinda regreted killing House. Thing is, in RPGs I usually try not to do what I'd do in the situation, but what I imagine my character would do. And for my first run, I felt he would have picked the Yes Man.
Next time around, I'll go with House.
Luis Adams
Yes Man was my first pick as well, then I went House, then Legion, and now I'm doing House run again.
Jose Baker
>arma superb fun with ace mod and lots of people
>drift great game but not that much content, there should be a patch coming this summer
>sfv gotta git gud, learning rog atm
also been playing crash warped, never had it when i was a kid
Jayden Evans
>battlefleet gothic
How big are the battles? is there a lot of focus on tactics and strategical positioning?
Jonathan Peterson
>M&B Warband Actually playing Pop, going to win this time, solid game. >Dragons Dogma Solid game, was going for the last 2 achivements. >Factorio Great game, but newest patch crashed alot on my pc, waiting for a stable release
Jaxon Hughes
You using any mods? On my first run I only used that dialouge/UI fix and the bugfixes, wanted to experience the game untouched so I could figure out what I liked and didnt like.
I know there's one mod that adds a new daytime sky to the game, which I might look into.
Alexander Carter
>Brigador Great isometric shooter, no arcady twin-stick shit but everything has weight to it and the ballistics are pretty elaborate. Good vehicle/weapon variety (around 40 each) and fantastic lore. Biggest issue I have is that there is no real mission variety.
>Hidden & Dangerous 2 Pretty good tactical shooter, but it does the same mistake as the original Ghost Recon and has utterly shit mission design that doesn't play off the strenghts of the game and forces action sequences (including spawning enemies in your fucking sight). Which is a big shame, because it has so many niche mechanics (inventory management, disguises, enemy can surrender, elaborate command interface...) that so far I could barely use because the mission designers were retarded. Still in the second segment of the game though so maybe it'll get better.
Noah Long
>CK2 500+ hours in and it's still fucking exciting to play it. I just can't get enough of it it seems.
>Stalker A lot more tedious than I remember. >Dark Souls Still pretty fun, but I've just exhausted everything there is and now it's just routine.
Carter Ward
Playing without them, never modded New Vegas.
Sebastian Mitchell
The biggest battles in the campaign are... a dozen ships, give or take. It depends on what kind of ships you take. The game gives a number of points before each battle, which varies depending on the mission type. Some ships cost different amounts, depending on the ship class. An escort goes for between 40 to 50 points, while, say, an Imperial battleship, will cost around 150. If I remember correctly (I've mostly been playing skirmish) the largest battles in the campaign were around 700 or 800 points large.
You could just take one flagship and then spam escorts, though I doubt that fleet would win many battles.
>tactics and strategical positioning
Its basically sail ships in space, if that makes any sense. Broadsides and not letting the enemy in the rear are pretty damn important. Its not like in Homeworld where you can make the ships go up, down or something else. You can also pick different abilities for your ships; bombs, deamons, torpedos. What faction you play as also makes a difference. Orks, for example, are all about ramming the enemy and getting close and personal, since their ships become more effective the closer they get. There's also asteroids, mines and nebulas added into the mix.
Michael Bell
Nothing much. >Dead Island with my buddy. We beat original couple of years ago, so now we play EE on hard. It's pretty fun.
>Papers, please Played a bit on my lunch brake
>The Dig Woah, this game is niiiiice
Carson Flores
EVO's in a week, fuck I don't have time for anything
James Peterson
How is the The Dig port?
Luke Mitchell
Playable. Menu trough F5 is a bit annoying, but otherwise I have no complains.
Anthony Hill
Fallout 2,on my 3rd playtrough. Doing an energy weapons run, just got the laser pistol from Salvatore.
Andrew Watson
>Dragon's Dogma First time playing it and it's pretty alright so far. Got fucked by a giant in that place underneath Gran Soren. Picked up my main pawn and ran away. Could use some tips
>Crypt of the Necrodancer and Nuclear Throne Just games I pick up when I find myself needing to kill time. Was able to complete the game once on both games but I haven't found my stride like BoI.
>Not pictured: Overwatch and R6:S Honestly these are my go to games when my friends get on. Played a ton of R6:S and now I'm just waiting for updates. Overwatch I just got but played a bunch of closed/open beta.
Charles Lopez
>Could use some tips There ain't much to be done about the Ogres. They are just awful health sponges the lot of them. One of the most annoying enemies in the base game I think. Especially at low levels.
That one has a tendency to fall off the ledge and kill itself, so you might get lucky if you or your pawns hand around near the edge.
Fire and head shots are your best bet. But even that takes fucking forever to kill.
Have fun in the Quarry later.
Ayden Robinson
Forget about underground for a while. I'd recommend to leave it and Black Isle to play after you beat main game.
Jason Powell
He meant the Everfall. That's early in the game .
Cameron Bell
sounds good to me man might pick it up at christmas along with homeworld remastered
Nolan Wood
I think it did end up falling off. I recall gaining exp and gold randomly after running away. I'll be avoiding that area for a while then thanks. I know that the archer/thief class is the strongest in the game but I just really want to fuck shit up with two-handed swords. Mistake?
Colton Nelson
You can just make the troll charge you while standing near the edge, most of the time he'll run right over it and die, you'll get the xp but loose the loot.
Kevin Thomas
Nah, warrior is fun as fuck.
Just go with what you want, especially your first time through.
btw, warrior will one shot ogres, cyclops, chimera, ect. around level 60 or so using his big ass charge attack.
Jose Martinez
Don't judge me, I'm clearing my backlog.
>Dead Island I'm in Act 2 and it's pretty good so far. The resort setting in Act 1 is what makes this particular game shine. My only major criticism of this game is its lack of manual save, and also that the publishers are shady as fuck who have removed the original edition from the Steam store in order to promote the 'definitive edition' which is basically just a graphical overhaul (seems to be a trend recently, like Deus Ex HR, Metro 2033 Redux, and Skyrim). Could make getting coop achievements tricky.
>Lumino City As much as I appreciate the artistry that went into making this game, it suffers from the long walk times/pixel hunting frustrations of most point and click games. The story is cute and the music is good enough for me to want to get the soundtrack. Puzzles are too easy, and they force you to watch the albeit short cutscenes after you successfully trigger a puzzle solution.
>J.U.L.I.A If judging in terms of point and click puzzle/hidden object type games, this is probably one of the best. But the achievements are a pain and the DLC is a literal chore to play.
>The other two Artifex Mundi hidden object games Got them in a bundle. They're easy timewasters. The plots are meh, not as good as the Mystery Case File series. The thing I hate the most about them is the current trend in their newer games to make achievements that REQUIRE you to play the game all over again. Played one called Vampire Legends recently which had neat, behind the scenes interview footage on the residents of modern day Kisiljevo, Serbia. It was interesting to see pictures, listen to some resident play Serbian folk music and hear them talking about their town's history. Not something I would expect from a random hidden object game, but I love that type of dedication. It's expands your horizons a bit and is s nice aside from the regular games you play.
James Bell
>Mistake? Nah, it has some of the shittiest DPS but it's still more than easy to play though the game with it. Only class that really sucks to play is Mage.
>I know that the archer/thief class is the strongest in the game That's debatable. There really isn't any "strongest class". It's more just strongest classes for certain parts.
Ethan Morales
>Furi I love it. Playing it with a mouse and keyboard and not having problems but I'm still early into it.
Kevin Fisher
Thanks again for the advice. One last dumb question before I fuck off into the night. Is there a way to quickly relight the lantern when you get soaked? I'm probably blind but I go through two menus to put away and then equip it again.
Grayson Evans
You can bind it to the quickslots like any usable item.
Jordan Perry
Surprised no one replied to this bait. Have a (you) my friend.
Matthew Perry
>Total War Attila Probably the best TW game altogether although my favorite remains modded Empire. Playing the campaign with a friend has been a bit frustrating since we've had a fair bit of desynchs.
>Deception IV Took me a while to get around to playing it but really enjoy it now. Veruza best girl.
>Overwatch It's alright but i've gotten really rusty at FPS in general. Reinhardt is fun.
Jose Perry
best mods for empire?
Cooper Powell
>Nah, I just don't have the patience. Most games like these just feel slow to me, but there is so much shit going on with factorio that I'm always busy. Play Rimworld, keep on max speed and pause when appropriate, choose at least rough difficulty Shit's whack yo
