I just can't get into this game. It was the same 12 or however many years ago when I first played it.
I always get bored by the time you get to the beach level.

why do i hate this game when i loved the first so much. i tried to play it multiple times but the atmosphere of the intro level is so shit compared to narune. i've only made it further once and its been a while but honestly being a faggot with a wrench is lame

Funny, I thought DC2 was an improvement in literally every way with the exception of the Georama (was that what it was called?). There's was a ton of shit to do in that game. Going back to DC1 felt like a chore.

I actually prefer to make buildings from materials you can obtain normally instead of finding atla in dungeons.

Geostones were I think the attempt to bring a system like atla back, but they only unlocked after a certain point in the game, so sometimes it was a bit weird with what more you could build after getting them.

I just didn't like how the building system felt a lot more scripted in 2. Felt like you had more freedom to put things where you like in 1.

just got to the coastal area. kind of sad they finally wheeled out the enemy recolors.

It still is. I played 1 as a kid and 2 a few year ago on emulator and i loved it.
