So I just got RE5 for PS4, thought it might be nice to play through it again. Why are the extra contents all blocked and, I imagine will only unlock after you beat the game? I heard even the Gold Edition on PS3 had extra scenarios unlocked right away. Also somebody knows what's the criteria for unlocking costumes for campaign? In Mercenaries they are all unlocked right away.

In different ways, so I recommend spending two seconds to google it or maybe find a guide.

And costumes in mercenaries only unlocked after getting S rank on specific maps.
