Until about 2007 or so, people had to wait months as a standard or years in unfortunate cases for games to release in the west after Japan, and during that time plenty of content, balancing and bug fixing was added to the games when they were being localized. I'm not going to name names but there are literally thousands of games with superior western releases. I don't think they'll mess with dismemberment for this game though and I don't particularly care
