The general consensus is that Baby and Ballora are the scariest animatronics yet, along with this guy.

I like the design choice he made with the moving faceplates. Makes them look less like chuckie cheese animatronics unfortunately, but they do look like alien killer puppets.

The animatronics in the first few games were scary because they at least RESEMBLED actual Chuck E. Cheese animatronics. It was uncanny-valley, and that's where the fear came from. I always end up posting these gifs as an example of my point:

The designs of the animatronics ever since the third game have been completely unrealistic, and those natural, human ways they move in are the cherry on top of the not-scary sundae.
