when you open the console you can't get achievements until the next time you load up the game

you can get an opportunity to grab a handful of stealth field generator things (roughly 3 of them) in the starting town that you can use to reach new vegas real early even with shitty stealth

Toss up between Dinner Bell or Pew Pew. Both live within the category of being too late in the game, but at least Pew Pew has redeeming factors such as fucking ridiculous damage per shot for a pistol at the cost of fucking ridiculous ammo cost and also being a holdout weapon.

Granted with mods it Can be -Passable- but even then I still agree with , it just fails to live up to it's own hype...

Maybe if you could direct it or something, a constant swath of AoE for a few seconds instead of just a single hard to aim burst it'd be worth all the negatives.

We had two bags of Jet, seventy-five pellets of Buffout, five sheets of high powered Psycho, a salt shaker half full of party time mentants, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... and also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of Budweiser, a pint of raw ether and two dozen Med-X's.
Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious cherm collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

Fallout 4 has better and more realistic/fluid aiming system, camera, shooting system, melee animations.

I can understand gameplay but rpgwise it sucks ass. I hate that ghouls look more human than the leprosy victims of past games. I don't care for main story and I'm struggling to get through it 50 hours in.

Check out this mod called "d.e.c.a.y" it makes ghouls actually frightening looking like theyve been eaten by radiation.

I actually agree. Fallout 4 streamlined the gameplay and made it more accessible. I hate all the different perks and trait systen in NV. Not ti mention too many them are just dedicated to talking. Also it meant there was too many builds.

If you take grunt, then ALSD imo.

It is slightly more accurate, has a higher rof, but slightly less damage and critical damage.

However even with hand loader lil devil does not have access to any ammo with armor piercing capabilities.

45. auto super has -4 DT which while not amazing is better than nothing.

Also Maria is also completely viable against weaker enemies to save ammo.

Well what i did was skip the main story completely after i beat it the first time(which btw brotherhood ending is best) and go directly for the sidequests. Get a wiki and look at all the sidequests and things and try not to play the gane so linearly. Also theres a mod called "Alternate Start - Infinite answer" that allows for some alternate roleplay in just about any faction race and allows you to customize.
Theres also a silent player mod, and a mod that allows you to kill off main npcs like preston, its called "Mcdonough must die". Ive had so much fun just respawning preston, trapping him and splattering his brains with different weapons

Available on xboner? My pc is dead and I got it as a gift with all the content. I enjoy the game but 3 and NV are way better.

I tend to get overwhelmed when i played new vegas, fallout 3 was immensely fun and perfectly balanced rpg elements and gameplay for me. New vegas imo was cluttered with unessecary items and extra things that made it very distracting to focus on the game itself. Fallout 4 seems to be the next step in the right direction, although i miss the verbal options.

I like Danse so far but when do the rest show up? I have yet to find Nick, I dig Macready,Cait, and more because they aren't little bitches about me stealing everything. I wish that wasn't apart of the affinity system, hard out in the wasteland they should know that.

Also all of you whining and complaining that i gave todd money, i didnt, i always pirate bethgames because steam updates fuck my mods up. Fallout 4 may not have as many rpg elements but in my opinion it has just the perfect balance, and makes it feel like you are actually in the fallout universe with voiced player characters. My biggest issue with fallout 3 and nv was how disconnected i felt with the characters. These characters and companions seem well written like they could have been real people. All of those popup menus really broke immersion for me too...

Fallout 4 fag here, i tell you what, if someone adds decent physics, remodels the character faces/bodies from scratch and re-animates using mocap, i could see giving nv one more shot. But it feels weird like im walking on air, and you are constantly strafing instead of turning, and when you do turn it turns your camera aswell :/
