A FUCKING ZX SPECTRUM

I'm surprised nobody has posted Outrun, the game is completely balls out for 1986.

major props to R-Type also

this is from a SNES game

The best part is Follin did this on literally any system he came in contact with. Talented people make everything look good and yet for some reason people still think console wars are feasible.

OutRun is a quality game but not exactly a technical marvel

it wasn't that uncommon

Galaxy Force II and Black Thunder are pretty impressive as well

who's the naked robot girl with golden face and red hair though

How the fuck did he make this amazing piece of music with only the NES sound chip?

Well, he did this with a 1-channel audio chip when he was 17 This on a c64 a year later.

>Outrun
>not a technical marvel
I'm not sure who made you the judge, but fair enough I guess you're right.

If I described Outrun and Space Harrier as leaps in game hardware, would you agree? There's not much wizardry when you point out that it's a powerful 68K coupled with a VDP capable of displaying many tiles and having the ability to scale them thus creating the allusion of 3D.

That wizard looks ready for serious love

What the fuck is Tim Follin even doing anymore

turrican always had impressive music. Too bad it's kind of mediocre composition wise. The one you posted is incoherent.

You using headphones? Because it's a headphone mix.

Why haven't you played Tim Follin's video game?

He made a meme game not too long ago:
youtube.com/watch?v=VY876t_HUr4

Is it a video game?
I thought it was one of those murder mystery party games you got a lot of during the VHS boom. Happy for him for doing something he's happy with, but wish he'd return to music, especially since there would be no problem for him to find prolific work nowadays on games that aren't shovelware.
