Kickstarter

What have you funded on crowd sourcing?

Grim Dawn, Expeditions:Conquistador, D:OS, D:OS2, Wasteland 2
pretty happy so far

the homestuck game
I only gave $15, and I've never backed another project since. kickstarter is shit aside from a handful of actually fulfilled projects

cudde+kind

nothing
you must be mentally retarded to consider putting money on any type of kickstarter shit

blood stained
tokyo dark

Nothing, ever. This shit's been getting abused since day one.

I've backed these things.

>GCW Zero
Was worth it because I have a neat handheld for dedicated retro gaming. Didn't get the best use out of it until I modded the d-pad and buttons though.

>Nanolight
I backed this for two bucks because I liked the idea, whatever.

>Shovel Knight
Fuck yeah

>Shantae Half Genie Hero
This looks like it will pay off when it launches this fall/winter.

>Mighty No. 9
Fuck.

>Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
But only for $5, I support the cause but didn't wanna chance a full price investment. Looks like it will pay off though and I'll buy the game.

>Yooka-Laylee
Also looks like this will pay off.

>Spark the Electric Jester
It's a Genesis inspired game by a guy who did some notable Sonic fan games. It has elements of Dynamite Heady, Ristar, Sonic etc.
Development ha been quiet though and I haven't gotten around to playing the backer demo.

>Bryt Socks 2.0
I wanted some new socks. There's a Yooka-Laylee design too, whatever.

I've put almost $0.00 into Kickstarter and have no regrets. Only thing close was a Cr1TiKaL shirt from teespring. It's been said already but funding kick starters is ridiculous, you would have to be an idiot to give someone money in the hopes that they don't just run off with it. and the only scams I fall for is early access ;)

how are you liking the art style for bloodstained user? personally I think it looks kinda shitty but I never gave money to it so it's not like I have anything invested in it

Only Yooka Laylee, since I'm a sucker for platformers especially PS1/N64 platformers (collectathons).

And I'm happy so far, the game looks great.

suggest me some PS1/PS2 games user, want to take a bit of a break from monster hunter

The new MSI album

On the top of my head:

Ape Escape
Klonoa
Gex: Enter the Gecko
All Ratchet & Clanks and Jak games

I'm pretty fine with it.

thanks user, love me some fucking ape escape
totally forgot gex existed, I'm gonna go have some fun

>What have you funded on crowd sourcing?
Absolutely nothing.

Feels great.

thank you con man

Nothing. I don't pay for one sided promises.

Watching Con Man crash is hilarious. Guy's always been a hack.

Home stuck is one of the most autistic fan bases I've ever seen.

Sometimes I envy you poorfags. I guess that's the bright side of it, you don't get to be disappointed..

Gave 5 dollarydoos to Factorio

tell me a fanbase that isn't autistic

to begin with obsessing over something enough to form a fanbase and be part of it is autistic as fuck. I love sopranos and band of brothers but I'm not part of any fucking fanbase spending my time drawing OC or writing stories about tony soprano

Successful: Wasteland 2 ($50), Keep Skullgirls Growing ($75), Mighty No. 9 ($175, lel)

Still to come: Shantae: Half-Genie Hero ($15), Yooka-Laylee ($55), Shenmue III ($60), Indivisible ($75)

I wish I was as stupid and rich as you so that I could just throw money away.

>Not giving away free money and not waiting for years to get a product is being a poorfag

Strike Suit Zero, Clannad, Grisaia, Muv-Luv and Bloodstained.

SSZ was okay and I know exactly what I'm getting from the VNs so the only variable is Bloodstained.

holy shit

I've heard people wanted to gather at the con that he went to to beat him up. How did that go?

Inafune and Inti's panel focused on everything but MN9. They mentioned it only off hand. The rest of the time was focused on past Inti-titles, past MM titles Inti made, and Gunvolt.

Also look at Inti's booth. No MN9 stuff. In fact this is directly behind it. Their strategy right now is to pretend MN9 never happened and move on.
