THE ABSOLUTE MADMAN.

fukken epic we did it reddit!!! Xd

thx for the bump bae. here have a meme on the house

Consequences will never be the same.

I'm glad there's someone who is the pannenkoek of paper mario. Always love me some paper mario

But what advantages do parallel universes give in Paper Mario?

96 HOURS

for the last fucking time he says "but to answer that" not "but first" when he introduces parallel unvierses fukc you fucksdf ydfgou fuck tiu dfpcufkc you grd szf

Nothing. It's just amusing.

It allows you to build up autism for about 96 hours.

>96 hours for bumfuck nothing

At least we can begin spamming BUT FIRST bullshit

BUT

"Luke, I am your father."

you can hyper accelerate the game time

It means another universe, it's like having twice the game, idiot.

I love this guys videos dude, the one about hitting the block for a certain amount of years is so cool to me

Gamedev here. What's happening is that he's going so high, a floating point error occurs and he eventually loops around. He's ending up in the original place as he did before, however the rendering for the terrain has bugged due to the number error.

What I believe is happening under the hood is that the memory containing the position of mario is overwriting whatever happens to be next to it at the time. This is probably what is turning off the renderers and making it crash when you try to go through doors. Honestly it's amazing and amusing that it happens at all.

Trying a bit to hard to be "the next Pannenkoek" tbqh.

Obviously, but it still takes a fuckload of time even with that. Could be more than 12 hours.
And apparently they didn't use speedup anyway, at least the first time. They actually wasted 96 hours waiting for something to happen. And then they did it again for the second PU.

That's very clearly an out-of-bounds glitch that allows for the game objects to be loaded without rendering the 3D environment.

Fuck you OP, I thought this was going to be a newly discovered location in the game or some shit.

I forgot Paper Mario was so... high budget. Those oinks reminded me of all the hours I spent trying to understand how they worked, and seeing that snow village reminds me of just how deep the sewer section is, that I don't know if I ever explored them fully.

Hot damn, I wish Nintendo would port this to the regular 3DS.

Stryder7x has been doing Paper Mario tricks for way longer than Pannenkoek picked up in popularity.

no, he did it in real time on console.

so its not a parallel universe, its more like a graphical glitch?

Why care about parallel universes when you can time travel?

That's your own fault for going into a Mario parallel universes thread and not just expecting memes.

>I'm a faggot. Please rape my face

Correct. He is in the original, but modified/bugged, universe.

The Mario 64 QPU thing would be a better example of a parallel universe, since you actually went to a new location but with repeating collision checks (also due to overflowing some variables).

...

>newly discovered location
Are you fucking kidding me
Did you not see the thumbnail proclaiming it as a "glitch"
Do you not remember Pannenkoek's video
Are you literally three months old

Since 2014? Pannenkoek was still somewhat notable then, that's when he got the Impossible Coin and found the Mystery Goomba.

>We know you wanted to see remastered versions of older Paper Mario games...
>So here's Paper Mario 3D, a port of the N64 classic!
>Thousand Year Door? Nah, too much work, you'll buy the N64 3D remake and like it
The tears would be glorious

When Mario 64 can be completed with a single a press the End of Days will truly begin.

Dude it's summer. Give the kid a break he was a few months late for the QPU meme.

These are some downright arcane names, like a secret society that worships Mario 64's rituals.

I actually wanted this
it would have been better than Sticker Star

Plenty of games have unused levels, and no I don't watch pannencuck.

This is insane
gonna be amazing for speedruns

>mario moves 100 quintillion units up

TO

this shit is so stupid

So is this what happens when you go out of bounds in a videogame?
you get warped to another dimension?

youtube.com/watch?v=DPfMATdVN-w

416 YEARS

...

You are a fucking retard
It says "Glitch" right in the thumbnail
You clearly have the IQ of a grapefruit to not be able to process that it is a fucking glitch
It doesn't even matter if you're a moron who didn't watch the Super Mario 64 video
The fact that you would make up this idiotic logic to believe that "Parallel Universe Glitch" meant "New Unused Area" is absolutely astounding
I want to see the results of your last IQ test
Post them right now
If they say your IQ is greater than 100 the test is fucking broken
You don't just belong in a special school, you belong in a fucking fire
I hope you never reproduce
No woman should ever have to suffer raising a child that is just as mentally deficient as you
They'll try to eat their food with a shotgun
They'll throw their toys into a shredder then climb in to get them
They'll think a child molester is Space Jesus come to save them from the Flying Rock People
I want you to die so that humanity may continue to live

It's just a term given to explain a programming quirk where there appears to be a copy of the world collision when you go far enough out of bounds for the collision detection math to roll-over.

He wishes he could good enough to even scuff Pannen's metaphorical boots.

Does anyone have a link to that TTC video where he says there's no way in a fucking gorrilion years that a cog would stand still for a certain amount of time?

In Mario 64, when Mario gets up to QPU speed he's moving faster than the speed of light.

Does he travel upwards faster than the speed of light in the Paper Mario instance of universe jumping?

youtube.com/watch?v=X4k5NGUjTWs

I think in this case he's just propelled upward indefinitely at an average speed until he reaches the parallel universe which is why it takes so long for him to get there.

YES YES
MOOOOOORE

DEEPEST LORE

>96 hour accent
Yes

He says in the video and description that a floating point error doesn't occur, if I remember right.
It happens on the n64 console which crashes it but apparantly it doesn't happen in VC.

>The fact that you would make up this idiotic logic to believe that "Parallel Universe Glitch" meant "New Unused Area" is absolutely astounding
I've already explained in detail why I made that assumption. It's not my fault that you can't read.

>explained in detail
>DUHH GAMES HAVE UNUSED LEVELS SO I'M GOING TO CONVENIENTLY IGNORE THE BOLDED WHITE WORDS "PARALLEL UNIVERSE GLITCH" AND ASSUME IT'S A SECRET AREA
Great logic. You'd make a great 2nd grader.

>CONVENIENTLY IGNORE
Lol projecting much? You've yet to acknowledge my initial point.

"Parallel universe glitch" implies that he stumbled into someplace though glitching, and I explained why that didn't happen in the video.

But can we do it with none?

He's just baiting you user
No one can possible be this retarded

So is mario's dick still in them?

There's gotta be an extremely patient coder out there willing to write a batch script that boots up the ROM and plays through the entire game one input at a time without the player having to do anything.

It is, but in another QPU.

>cuck

You get your mom's permission before getting on the internet today, hon?
