I'm enjoying the game, but I wonder how similar it is to Persona since I've never played one, but the overall look is similar.

How do you guys think the battle system is compared to Persona?

persona's battle system follows the same "exploit weakness" system except you get an extra turn instead of triggering a chain attack like in #fe. i found #fe's system a lot better and more engaging overall.

It's mechanically more of an SMT game with Fire Emblem thrown in. It's only "Persona" if you think Persona is defined by bright colors.

pretty much what you described, just a TRPG crossover between the FE and SMT series

since this doesnt really have specific elements of either but more just general concepts (the returning characters from FE1/13 aren't much more than surface level fan service), i don't have much reason to buy the game anymore.
