Journalist here. Journalistic writing differs from everyday and formal writing in ways like this. These kinds of sentence breaks are actually pretty common.
Has anyone proven that story true/false about that guy riding around during work on his phone playing Go and witnessing a murder? Most media seems to be supporting it but I've seen no evidence. Just an audio clip of the guy shouting into his phone crazily pretending to call/talk to the police while also telling them about Pokemon.
Why do journalists get a free pass on basic grammar conventions?
I don't know, why does the internet?
Why does Sup Forums get to the point "cuck" means having pride in being betrayed by people?
Journalists are terrible writers because you have to shit out articles as fast as the world turns. Ironic how "editors" can't proof read their own articles. The Verge and CNN are the worst offenders.
It's not a pass. It's just a different writing style. It's the same reason that most paragraphs are no longer than two sentences (usually just one) and shit like that.
I found 50€ in a small forest.
My parents having sex in the shed.
>Journalistic writing differs from everyday and formal writing in ways like this
......because journalists are semi-illiterate?
Shouldn't you be busy shilling for a new war or something?
So do most writers, especially if you're writing poetry.
So that kid found Gengar or something?
>Why do journalists get a free pass on basic grammar conventions?
It's a stylistic choice, the sentence is continuing on the thought of the previous sentence which was complete and now separated by a space.
That could all be one sentence, but it reads better this way.
>I don't know, why does the internet?
99% of what you see here will not be used for commercial gain.
>go out
>see dead body
>WOW POKEMON GO DID IT
Police are saying it's a hoax.

Nobody blames the app for anything, retard.
>Land in Chicago O'Hare
>immediate Jynx
not even making shit up
can you use the App on a plane? I imagine it might not work when you're going a few hundred MPH
Welp, Hollywood has a Stand By Me remake now.
More to the point, it doesn't work in Airplane mode
The only thing I've found is the ERROR and GPS SIGNAL LOST text while my character teleports around the map while pokemon pop up that I can't click on.
Couple of friends on my Facebook were walking through a forest area searching for pokemon and happened upon a lost 5 year old girl. Took her to the park Rangers and it turns out her parents are still missing.
Crazy shit going down with this game.
