Thoughts?
will it be good?
Based on the gameplay, it looks like a really immersive "survival" experience in an interesting landscape, but with nothing really going on.

Dose it have a singleplayer?
They keep delaying their fucking live stream/closed beta date so I don't know what the fuck I'm supposed to think
It will, yes
I think the video above was single player, especially since those were definitely NPCs that wrecked him at the end. If they were real players, he would've died a lot quicker...
nigga that game looks tight as fuck
shooters witch good gunplay are really hard to fuck up
regardless of story or any other stupid shit
Huh i was under the impression this was a multiplayer only game
>russian made
>good
They said there would also be an offline mode with bots fampai. Devs got you covered if they ever bother releasing the thing
Hmm this could be interesting
I'm still not sure about that damage model that's being used. It looked like you have to put in a shitton of ammo into someone, so that they drop dead, even when AP was used.
>no receiver cover
Literally why
Pretty sure it was just to show how much you can mod the weapons in the game.
looks pretty good. my only complaint is
>no aiming deadzone
I don't care, as long as I get good gunporn out of it.
Got some friends hyped up for it, but I heard the online servers will only hold like 8 or 16 players, is that true or no?
Is this that Russia 2028 game or is it something else?
aiming deadzone?
>watch less than 10 seconds
>a few steps the guy takes causes the gun to bob and have a seizure almost
Instant trash.
>Thoughts?
another game suffering from the empty sandbox meme
Same devs, same universe as CW and Russia 2028, but the game itself is different.
looks like something thatll be popular to twitch streamer fags
russian roadside trash cleanup simulator, with bonus accurate depictions of life in russia
No it does not have single players, its a shitty stalker clone MMO survival garbage.
"We do not intend to make an offline single-player campaign, though anyone is free to try and clear the game alone, without help from partners in co-op. However, we do recommend to find trusty partners for the final locations."
>DayZ clone survival shooter in generic pretty engine and a cash shop with P2W features
Too bad it's p2w
Dead on arrival
Any developer who does shit like this will inevitably lead to more and more P2W bullshit.
Personally I don't think atmospheric stalker-like games can work with multi-player focused design because they foster a different kind of behavior in players. This shit really only works with single-player games.
I'm just waiting for Stalker 2 since GSC is developing games again. Also, 4A is supposedly working on an open-world Metro game if I remember correctly.
Shut the fuck up asshole god why do you have to be such a negative little shit all the time? Go shoot yourself in the brain maybe that will give you some fucking sense I hate you so freaking much right now just die already diediedie god why can't you just diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie?
you must be at least 18 to browse this site
I'm over 18 you dumb fuck. Now stop responding to me and just DIE!
cyka dev pls go
t.dev
Russian Kusoge filled to the brim with shitters and snipers.
>loading the AR15 like an asshole palm on the magazine floor
DROPPED
>75 fov max because 'muh cinematic experience'
>p2w bullshit
>no real singleplayer, just the same boring cykablat stalker/dayz but without anything interesting or even any monsters/zombies
>only cool part is all the customization
meh.
Needs mutants and anomalies and then I'd buy it. No deadzone aiming also bothers me with a game like this, same reason why I'm not a huge fan of the game Verdun, which also needs that. And leaning, Verdun needs leaning. Sorry, got sidetracked. I like the inventory, UI (and lack thereof) and don't much care for everyone being bullet sponges.
5/10 from what I've seen so far could be so much better if they just went the STALKER route.
it's not that bad. especially if you're grabbing it from something like an ALICE pouch
>watch video
>wow this looks really cool
>come back to thread
>its an mmo
>deadzone aiming
please explain??
What is deadzone aiming?
It's not an MMO, it's only like 40 players per server.
Is it STALKER or a new Metro? If not, it can fuck off.
It's russian so it will be total shit like every mmo they make
This game looks great but it looks like youll end up playing the same few maps a million times to gear up. The world seems relatively small from what ive seen. 3 weeks in everyones gonna know every spot to look for items and rush them i bet. Guides on "how to fram Cyblatzone2017 in under 3 minutes!"
bullets always leave the barrel in a straight line, without an unrealistic "cone of fire"
BUT the barrel of your weapon drifts around the screen lazily as you move your mouse, resulting in predictable yet ineffective hipfire.
it's a mechanic that generally suits realistic games like Red Orchestra better than it suits competitive games like Counter Strike. Unfortunately, while the ballistics make more sense, it's still not technically a realistic solution to hipfire inaccuracy.
what a pile of garbage
It's arma battle royal kind of
You know how in Red Orchestra 2 or ARMA where the gun moves independently of the screen? That. Means the bullet physics directly correspond to the rifle and not the player's center perspective.
so how do you propose to rework the said mechanic?
having a cone of fire on non-shotgun type weapons is borderline stupid...
so how do you do it?
I'm getting interested in this...
oh, that makes sense. But why do people have a problem with it? it sounds like a decent alternative.
personally I like it in those types of games. I just stress that it's not a perfect solution. perhaps there is no perfect solution. no simulation of firearms that uses standard video game controls can ever simulate hipfire fully realistically
I'm curious as to the game's setting/synopsis.
Anyone know?
Oh that floaty gun thing. I never liked that. I tolerate it on Insurgency but it always made me not like games like time splitters.
...
gross dude
Yeah it sucks
Aiming deadzone is this area you can set where you can move around the weapon without actually moving your character. Most games have zero aiming deadzone, so your avatar moves with your weapon no matter what. Aiming deadzone allows your body and head to face one way but allow you to move your arms and weapon independent of it to a degree. I've only really seen it in ARMA.
Yeah, seems weird to me as well, people were just eating bullets with few issues.
I really think games going for a more realistic tone, really need to rethink their damage systems.
Is it really still not out?
damn.
any games with a damage system that complex but in real time?
What game is that?
What game?
Cabela's Big Game Hunter
...Should've been able to fucking guess that.
Thanks.
So the entire game is just fighting your way in, getting some loot, and fighting your way back out?
Metroid Prime have aiming deadzones as well. Can't recall if you could turn it off or not.
>AP ammo
It's not like AP ammo is some kind of fucking magic. Level 4 vest is capable of stopping a fucking .30-06 AP, not just some shitty 5.56, and you can take quite a few bullets when wearing solid piece of protection (ceramic shit doesn't apply) without getting knocked out/killed.
Enemies who weren't wearing any vests died in two body shots from TT.
I think they might want to look into something like ACE or some of the medical mods ARMA has where you can get shot and bleed out at different rates depending where you get hit, or die outright, broken bones, losing consciousness, ect.
What about RO2/Rising Storm system?
But this is already present in the game, dipshit.
it will be shit mark my words
>mmo
It's gonna be 20-30fps on average regardless of hardware like in ARMA/Dayz isn't it
Why don't they make games like this singleplayer? Half of what made STALKER so enjoyable and atmospheric was that it was a singleplayer experience
It's being made by Slavs so it'll probably be buggy and glitchy like STALKER as well.
This game is made with unity right?
>Escape from Meme
The gunplay seems amazing.
I don't like survival (DayZ kind of) games but I migh give it a try just because of the gunlay.
Eh, if I were fighting mutants or demons as well, then maybe. It does look like it could be a pretty good spiritual successor to STALKER, but I honestly couldn't give less of a shit about more survival death match shooters.
Unlike polished and finished western games?
>t. Westerncuck
Don't you have a bull to prep?
Looks like another boring empty online survival game for kids 8-15 to run in circles and shoot each other in the back
>No it does not have single players
It will have singleplayer in openworld with story for fucks sake, they already confirmed it
You loose everything if you die tho
Westerners may be huge cucks but it doesn't change the fact that slav games are generally buggy and unoptimized
Things have changed for the better in past years.
>offline mode with bots fampai
somebody doing something right for fucking once
is his aim shit or the game do that bullshit uncontrollable recoil crap
Bull fucking shit. I bet you all that P2W bullshit remains no matter what.
Its a graphicswhore cash grab riding on the shitty 'lone gunman survival' genre DayZ shat out onto the world.
so it's literally (not) STALKER 2
BROWNAN BLOOMAN
But I'm not done shitposting!
Was really hoping it would be Stalkers spiritual successor.
good luck finding literally stalker 2
when will there be a worthy successor to the STALKER games?
Those games are fucking old at this point
>loose
Looks good. Not STALKER tier, but the next best thing.
Those comments though
>lol US military sucks they average 1000 rounds to kill a person I can kill someone in COD or battlefield in like 3 pfft
So it's proven to be a real thing? Last I heard of this there was a just a video of a tech demo that looked prerendered
