>Archer fag literally helpless against a half-crippled and exhausted man armed with only a shield
Why are archers so fucking useless?

Bastard Bowl/Snow Bowl
Did you not see them wreck shit against massed infantry 15 minutes earlier?
Video games faggot.
also, the last time Ramsay fought he did it with fucking swords
why did he decide to fight a man with a shield at close range by shooting arrows at him
all he had was the fucking shield, he was dead tired, all Ramsay had to do was not stand there and get hit in the face
Did you honestly expect consistency from Game of Thrones? They do this shit with armor, too, where half the time it makes someone unstoppable and the other half it gets cut open like it's so much paper
It's bottom of the barrel trash
Why didn't Ramsay just use a sword
>RPGs don't have archers.
Holy Shit. How can anyone be this fucking retarded.
>Hide behind a pike wall
>Shoot into a melee and kill your own dudes
>Crumble like wet tissue the instant the cavalry start to ram their lances up your unguarded asses
Archers are fucking useless. They might have done better if they gave the archers swords and shields and told them to join the melee, because they would have killed less of their own guys.
Everything does this. There was this one time on GoT where a character actually sliced along the openings of armour at least.
Because swords are cool.
It was so anticlimatic, I was expecting him to bust out a dagger and maybe a sword. Just lost like a little bitch.
>blaming archers for poor leadership
Bolton lost the battle for himself
Archers literally won wars.
Hanzo useless piece of shit.
why did he shoot the already dying giant instead of just shooting jon snow
after watching this, I know this is based in middle age combat. I am wondering why commando/guerrilla/special forces style of fighting was never used at the time?
why do you have to put your forces in open space, perfectely square and then ravaged with the other army?
what about fighting in the woods? camouflage? Night operations? Traps, poison, chemical warfare?
I realize middle age wasn't the brightest era of Europe but I wonder why no one never tried that.
>hanzo trying to fight a rienhardt
>No ASOIAF: Total War
that really bothers me
90% of the time, a tap on the back of someone's full plate armor is an incapacitating wound
good question
But it was, you just don't see it that often.
Also, you have to realise, night battles were pretty hard at the time. It would be impossible to discern friendly troops and the battlefield situation would be impossible to follow.
I hated that battle.
They could at least read up some historic battle and copy it. Or at least play a battle on mediaval 2 and copy that, not that it's realistic or anything but it makes more sense than their bullshit.
The fucking circular pike wall and the other guys just standing there was one of the most retarded moments I've seen in any form of media.
weren't pike walls like that actually used pretty effectively?
I mean you wouldn't have a literal wall of bodies just appear on the battlefield and trap someone against it like that obviously
why was ramsay so retarded with his tactics?
>hurr lets shoot and kill anyone including my own men
>hurr lets trap the entire emeny(you're never supposed to do this it makes the emeny fight harder for there life)
>hurr lets kill a already dying giant and not jon snow
>not picking up a sword when jon got the shield
mfw
>No ASOIAF game period.
No the telltale game doesn't count. Mods don't count either.
