I fucking love the PokeWalker. I wish they'd implement it in future games but it'll never happen, especially now that Go is so huge.
I fucking loved it.
Seriously. Was really disappointed it was a one time thing.
Will Sun/Moon have any GO integration?
Allegedly, this was the most accurate pedometer in the world when it first came out.
Still got mine
Didn't know they made more, had the original.
Highly unlikely.
I miss old tamagotchi games
Best version coming through
Hey OP I still remember. Still used it till i lost it. I might buy another to go with my reset game anyway. I loved it when I had it
>having a Gameboy during school
>playing Pokemon Red version
>notice some poorfags huddled together playing with their shit digivices
>laugh at them with my friends and walk away
Good times. Funny too seeing Pokemon is still a thing while Digimon is dead everywhere besides Japan
>
I'm still using my Pokémon Pikachu Color as a pedometer every morning.
Shit's cool.
Shit was great. I could grind levels while going on hikes. Too bad I caught sand in it once and couldn't use the buttons. My sandslash is probably still in it.
>mfw when I had both
You were the real poorfag nigga. Btw, digimon had (has) the better anime.
I remember shaking it like a madman, cause I didn't want to go out walking
I had that thing too. I was super disappointed when I realized how few features it had. Really expected more.
I'm just waiting for Digimon to release their own version of Go...just wait and see pokefags
Kinda.
Pokemon's always had far better production values, though. A battle in Pokemon is just way better to watch than anything that Digimon's had to offer.
There were real stakes when digimon fought though. Digimon actually died. In Pokemon, they just faint. To me, that made the story much more serious and dramatic.
>Digimon stealing Pokémon ideas again
I mean, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised.
I used it a lot and would connect with people at uni. I thought it was a really cool idea personally.
The highest step count I ever got was 15000 the weekend at a comic book convention
Yeah, same here. Think it's because of the D-pad that implies it to be more game-ish, when it's just another Tamagotchi with a pedometer.
That has nothing to do with how the average battle in Digimon is slow, clunky and bland to watch.
In Pokemon, battles are fast-paced, dynamic and, in the case of important battles, very well animated. For what's essentially a decade-long toy commercial, the general production quality of Pokemon is very high.
Compare to Digimon Adventure and 02, where battles are just an endless stream of the same stock footage over and over. It's better in Tamers where stock footage is generally limited to just evolution and Card Slash sequences, but the battles are still pretty lame. Though I supposed you can't expect much more than that from Toei.
