you could throw balls
Some of the best convos in the series.
I like this game I'm gonna run through it again.
He looks like a chad
Chamber boy
No fuck you
Mantling mechanic
Cut Skull-Gun aug
Holographic titties
The cover was one of the worst things about the game.
If it didn't have 'Deus Ex' on the front, it'd be a decent shooter with some OK writing and a little too much Xbox-era consolitis.
It is the sequel to the game of the year.
It's not Human Revolution
Human Revolution wasn't that good you know
I enjoyed the opening cinematic.
I can't
I can't even run the game on my computer
Something nice you could have said was "It's too powerful than my computer."
>your opinion is wrong btw
Thanks for your input, fuckface.
>stealth game
>guy holding gun on cover like 'break yo self foo'
Alex has a fly leather outfit
Wouldn't that mean what he is saying is a good thing?
I finished it.
Mag Rail.
>human revolution
>humans are powerless, world almost destroyed
You can play as a female
Everything is simplified so you wont ever struggle with the mechanics
There is no "good ending"
In fact each ending is morally reprehensible so I had to think long and hard about each choice
I ended up killing all of those fuckers and causing the world to enter a race for power which destroys the world. What game lets you do that?
JC ending is good, Illuminati is bad, Templar is retarded. Omar ending is just entropy.
Doesn't the game begin with the complete destruction of Detroit? That sounds like a really good thing.
>playing a moral game as a stormfag
>expecting your twisted beliefs to be the good ending
Chicago. Close enough.
>he didn't elevate humanity to the next level
Why do you hate the human race user?
Are you the same person who said this yesterday?
>implying I'm a horrible person, AKA stormfag
JC enlightens everyone by force
Illuminati's ending is just capitalism
Revolution has multiple definitions ya silly
>by force
The average asshole has no idea what's good for them. If they need a little push to make them better then all for my lord and savior JC
>JC enlightens everyone by force
And this is morally questionable in wich way?
>Illuminati's ending is just capitalism
My point stands
ApostleCorp and JC Helios's plan for a perfect democracy was actually exactly what you'd expect for a sapient human-merged AI to come up with as far as a plan for a utopia goes.
They nailed that.
>JC enlightens everyone by force
Better than letting them wallow in ignorance
you niggers are coming out of that cave, we have a perfect world to build.
...
It wasn't thi4f
no
>mindset of religion
I'd say that strapping someone down to a table and operating on them to increase their intellect (even if there's zero chance for fuck ups and failures) when they have no choice is immoral. Debate me.
>>mindset of religion
>debate me
Wow you are one huge fedora loving faggot
>fishing for fedoras
That has nothing to do with this, the change was completely benign and beneficial in Deus Ex.
Everyone gets superhuman intelligence and access to a hivemind of sorts at no cost, it's literally prefect, only thing lost is the freedom to be a retard.
The woman that voices NG is a cutie
EMP upgrade for melee weapons is fucking sick. Would have been convenient in DX1.
Also Laura Bailey voices fem-Alex, and her presence is always a good thing.
Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understood JC's enlightening is only a hivemind, he didn't make everyone smarter. His plan was to give everyone an equal opportunity by connecting each other to a database, it's a bigger and better internet in our heads.
I thought of 2 possible ways for this to go after this ending.
>everyone follows "the best route" for humanity along with JC like a robot. This kills the free will.
>everyone treats it like we treat the internet irl, a huge amount of information at our fingertips yet we instead use it for porn and shitposting.
The more I think about JC the more I hate where he went.
>melee weapons
Yeah that was still a thing in IW. Probably gone forever now. Loved sneaking around with the see through walls aug cutting people up.
You could knock out/kill anybody you want and play basketball with their corpses. Beyond that, they had some fun unique weapons (mainly the toxin blade and the hellfire boltcaster) and some good-if-not-fully-realized ideas (the holographic idol/neighborhood watch hybrid and the violently competing coffee companies that were actually secretly part of the same conglomerate).
Sound effects were fantastic and amazing convos
That's about it.
Omars were cool as fuck
Some of the levels were interesting
The game has stronger social element than Deus Ex
You didn't get anything, I think you didn't pay enough attention to the story.
JC distributes nanites to every human on the planet giving everyone strength and intelligence comparable to his own. Also, Helios becomes the ruler of the new world.
>tfw Laura Bailey will never giggle and whisper lewd things in your ear
It was fun
Who else played IW first cause they heard all the good things about the first one but didn't have a pc growing up? I have some serious rose tinted glasses for this game
>fem-Alex
Not only am I in the minority for people that actually like this game but I'm further in the minority of people that prefer male Alex's more dry sarcastic sounding delivery
For me, a modified version of the Sophia Sak section of the game was on an Official Xbox Magazine demo disk. I was straight-up introduced to Deus Ex through Invisible War, because I was a young console adherent at the time.
It's better than the FALL.
You can play as a girl
something Deus Ex scrapped.
Was this the only difference between a male and a female Alex?
The shit I tool this morning is better than Fall
Something nice about pic related.
Invisible War being bad is just a meme.
Majority of Sup Forums hates it despite most of them having never played it.
They hate it simply because it is the popular opinion here.
i'm playing with the high res texture mod and she's a qt
>>>/Rabbit/
does SSD help on the horrible loading times?
It's not that it's bad, it's just boring
It may get better from halfway onwards, but I never could be assed to get that far
