Gonna jump in and say Ratchet disappointed me. I found it got tedious even before the end, with no element to keep me going through the overly simple and easy gameplay.

DD:DA has no framerate issues on PC
Star Ocean is mediocre, like every SO after 2
Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae is not worth $12; the combat doesn't save it
I've heard mixed things about the new Ratchet & Clank

Ratchet & Clank was fucking great

I spent 3 consecutive days Platinuming it while sick. First time in a while I've spent so long continuously on one game.

It's reimagining the first one's story. I liked some of the jokes and found it to be serviceable eonugh.

I feel like people who were disappointed in R&C PS4 were people for whom it was either their first R&C or because they're too infatuated with the original R&C story.

Also, PS4 Odin Sphere is best for least FPS drops.

I also hear RE5 PS4 port is shit but I haven't delved too much into that.

Wouldn't buy Setsuna for 40 bux or SO5 or 60 bux. Half for both at best.

Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae is just boring bloody palace kind of game and at that price I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Besides one R&C game on PSP I can barely remember I've never played a Ratchet game before. Grew up PC + Nintendo, flipped poorfag and couldn't replace my laptop once it broke.

PS4 has been an absolute godsend. With all the remasters from PS3 + Vita / PS4 exclusives + actual exclusives I'm digging my 300$ meme PC

The PSP version was decent I hear but the PS2 was absolute garbage. The PSP games were developed by a company that was formed by some ex Naughty Dog and Insomniac employees, including the late Dan Johnson.

there was a demo, at least on vita. you should try it if you can. the gameplay felt like it belonged on a handheld, not in a bad way. it was handled by nisa, but as far as i know the localization was good. i think they were responsible for the translation, but maybe they only did the publishing part, i dont remember. if you really hate nisa better look it up.

I'm considering getting the God Eater games but I should probably research them more.

It's super good. Doesn't seem censored at all. Plenty of fanservice, none of the bullshit SJW shit that happens usually. Even the "bitchy girl" of the series is just a joke and gets pushed around by the protag.

Gal Gun: Double Peace comes out in around 2 weeks and I still can't decide what platform I want to get it on.
Vita will be great because I feel a rail shooter might be fun to play when I'm commuting but PS4 will look better and perform better than the Vita version.

Grand kingdom has a really good combat system but the online is a cluster fuck and the single player is just ok.
