Wrex.

Remember that first time you gained access to the Star Map?

Remember the first time you beat the game and thought about how much BIGGER and BETTER the sequel was going to be?

i've never played a mass effect game

Why is tali the single most amazing character ever, Sup Forums?

Tali was interesting in the first game. She became an obnoxious cunt in the sequels.

I think that both mass effect 2&3 were good games. They made some mistakes, but they were worthy sequels to ME1.

I remember myself liking her in ME2

Mass effect 2 was perfect prove me wrong

She had a decent story arc in ME2 at least. She was just unbearable in 3.

Seconded. I think each game had its strengths and shortcomings, but it was still one of the stronger game trilogies I can think of despite the whole ending controversy.

>People on here unironically think 2 was better than 1

Pretty much a litmus test for underage faggotry.

SING ALONG MODE

How come Wrex and Garrus were so shit in ME1, but then became god tier in ME2 and ME3?
How come Liara and Ash were god tier in ME1, but then became shit in ME2 and ME3?

She didn't even have a personality in 1 except "Hello I am a Quarian here to educate you about quarians". A LITERAL mouthpiece for her people.

Really? I thought Tali wasn't much more than a codex entry on Quarians in the first game.

Grew more fond of her in the sequels.

Liara's DLC in ME2 was breddy gud

Wrex and Garrus were great in all three games.

They removed Liara's most interesting character trait of being awkward weirdo.

Ash became a tranny. She was only ever really interesting as a space bigot anyway.

Ash was forgettable in ME2 and ME3 because her and Kaidan's roles were short and completely interchangeable.

Liara had a decent arc as long as you bought the Shadowbroker DLC.

I found Liara's development across the three games to be interesting, to say the least.

KROGAN COCK, SO GOOD

How does he manage to always get the first post in the sfm threads?

NOT BAD FOR A BUNCH OF ALIEN SCUM

Humans are so.. squishy. Where are you even supposed to grab them?

>daily reminder krogan dont like female humans

Should have genocided them desu

I honestly love her voice and enjoy jacking it to her sfm stuff. The Nidalee one is the best.

ME3 had by far the best combat

>underage

But I'm 29. I just think the actual combat in 1 is unintuitive, even if having infinite ammo is nice. Plus quite frankly I was bored using the Mako since the worlds always felt too samey.

But then the only Bioware games I genuinely enjoyed were KotoR (because it's SW) and NWN.

ME2 is overall a much more solid experience.

Anything that isn't tied to ME1's main quest is just randomly generated terrain and copy pasted areas.

ME2 on the other hand has practically unique looking areas for practically every mission, including side quests.
It excels in the character interaction with your crew and although the main story might not be as gripping as ME1's, it's team collection and buildup to the suicide mission is fantastic.
Not to mention that the gameplay as a whole was made a lot more smooth and enjoyable.

ME1 feels rather barebones and empty despite it's great space opera story, but ME2 is a well designed, very solid experience that doesn't feel lacking in any category.

>Wrex and Garrus
>shit in ME1
They were great, especially Wrex.

Anyone else always romance Ashley? She's not really my favorite girl but I tend to go for the girl I think makes the most sense/has the most interesting relationship with the protagonist.

I like that Ashley's romance has them actually break up and have trust issues, it's the only romance option with some real conflict that needs to be overcome. Everyone else just sucks Shepard's cock 24/7, but he and Ash actually have to work shit out first.

>Liara and Big Blue MILF Titties justicar are the only girls in your party who escape Bioware's inability to make attractive woman faces
>Only Liara will fuck you
>Liara is, coincidentally, the only lesbian option

Based dykes win again

But ashley is a fucking xenophobe that deserves to die in nuclear fire.

Liara is better

Quit ME2 the second I got back to the Citadel and there were like three fucking rooms to explore

I thought Ash had the best romance arc in ME1, but her character arc faded over the course of the series.

So I'm kind of fond of Tali's in ME3, as the shifting dialogue ties into all of her character missions and shows how her and Shep's relationship developed over time.

But the citadel in ME2 was fairly big.

Most of it is completely optional though

Thirded. Mass Effect 3 in particular was awash in great scenes. Grunt's last stand against the Rachni. Legion's question to Tali. Mordin rectifying his mistake. Half dead Thane slapping the shit out of Kai Leng. Garrus and Shepard broing it up with sniper rifles together.

>although the main story might not be as gripping as ME1's, it's team collection and buildup to the suicide mission is fantastic.
What main story?

2 had way too many squad mates even without dlc. You only need 4-5 options

Collectors abducting fringe human planets and the Council ignoring it while Cerberus takes action.

They all were very good characters though.

>daddy issues the game
>good characters
Pick one

And all of that amounts to war assets in the sequel. what's worse, the semi-important parts (such as The Arrival and LotSB) get accomplished regardless if you had the DLC.

>Tali
>The black one
>Miranda

Who else? Literally nobody?
Not to mention Tali's was mostly the opposite, defending her father.

Good characters.

Easy pick.

>implying Zaeed wasn't based as fuck

I think it also amounted to no human reaper, no collectors, and a bunch of other shit too. It's not just about what you took with you, but also what you prevented.

Thane's quest is about his son having daddy issues as well as samara's daughter essentially has daddy issues as well

>Grunt
>Garrus
>Thane
>Legion
>Mordin
>Jack
>Daddy issues

Never played the DLC though

Thane's quest is a long reach but I'll accept it. You're bullshitting about Samara and you know it, though.

It wasn't, prove me wrong.

Zaeed, Legion, Bailey, Thane, Mordin, Aria and Grunt. Mostly Legion.

That's still 5 (one stretch) out of 13

It's really just two. Miranda and Jacob. Every other one you listed just happens to have include a family member but would be an outright lie to call it "daddy issues."

All of which is invalidated because you can start ME3 without importing from a ME2 save file and the goals of the DLC get accomplished regardless.

>Every other one you listed
That wasn't me. Besides, he's wrong regardless of how many straws he grasps for.

How is that invalidated?

>Two people who were brought into the Cerberus fold and clearly see the Elusive Man as a fatherly figure, which he uses to manipulate them, have daddy issues
>This is somehow a bad thing

Stop the presses! Something makes perfect sense in relation to the character and storyline, but some idiots have an issue with it!

Remember how Cerberus obtains the collector base regardless if you destroyed it or not?

Remember when a ME2 character is supposed to do something and then a replacement NPC does the same thing anyways?

No, Ashley annoyed me so much that i saved Kaidan. The surprise came in ME3 when he turned out to be a faggot. Should've let them both die.

Also thankfully Jack didn't survive the suicide mission.

>including side quests.
What fucking side quests? The only missions in the game were recruitment, loyalty, and Collector missions.

>The Quarian stealing the Volus's credit chip

Literally took two seconds to think of
0/10 try again

>Liara is, coincidentally, the only lesbian option

Samantha Traynor in 3.

There's about five to ten missions you can get by exploring planets, they're horribly tedious to get to but some are kinda neat.

>in the sequel
So that effects ME3, not ME2

Loyatly missions and a couple extra count as side quests.
Anything that's not strictly tied to the main quest is a side quest by definition.

I forgot about her. Probably because she's even more inconsequential than Kelly.
Why the FUCK didn't Jack stay in as a lesbian option? It's not fair.

VA didn't want to probably, at least that's why there wasn't male gay romance until 3.

All of those scenes were just building up on things 1 and 2 established already. No new content in 3 was worth giving a shit about. The multiplayer was ace though.

Aren't the lines in the fucking game? God damn it. Men get Carth and the gay spic in outer space in ME3 and girls still only get Liara in 3, unless you want to go for the most boring bitch in the world. Fuck Bioware, bunch of fujoshits.

Her character got more fleshed out in the sequels. She was objectively a better character in ME2, as was Garrus.

Help me save the galaxy once again friends, what was this guys name, he's just so bland i keep forget it, someone remind me.

Didn't find pic but who is James Vega?
google.se/search?q=james vega&safe=off&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=955&tbm=isch&imgil=cE_ZWOaSF1BZ1M%3A%3Bpuv1eBry1sOeoM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fmasseffect.wikia.com%252Fwiki%252FJames_Vega&source=iu&pf=m&fir=cE_ZWOaSF1BZ1M%3A%2Cpuv1eBry1sOeoM%2C_&usg=__D75hS-zlPlTK91MIA864mxWR4Lc=&ved=0ahUKEwiD0sTVou_NAhVkKpoKHTtMDroQyjcIKA&ei=9ZaFV8ODFeTU6AS7mLnQCw#imgrc=cE_ZWOaSF1BZ1M:

I purposly keep ashley alive so i can shoot her myself in the third game, i do it on every play through since my first where she killed wrex.

She was written pretty well in 2. Only people who tend to hate her in the second game, are Legion fans boys. Who think she was picking on their robot husbando.
Haven't played ME3 in a while, didn't play any of the dlc. Recall her being forgettable in the third game.

It was.
Characters were better.
Gameplay was far better.
Setting was just as good.

Only thing ME1 did better was music and story. And the story was cliche as fuck.

But I love Legion and Tali, the only character I didn't like was Kasumi.

Also you get a really neat scene at Rannoch with her if you save everyone.

>reminder that after Grunt's loyalty mission a female krogan put in a breeding request for male Shepard

Yup.
Shep even makes krogan gals wet.

>Shepard I need you to go into this obvious trap that I know is a trap, but I'm not going to tell you it's a trap, because the collectors apparently think you're stupid enough to not find a derelict collector ship dangerous unless you think it's a trap.

>oh look you survived because the collectors were stupid enough to not try and do anything to impede, harm, or trap you before you made a direct link into their computer

>It's almost as convenient as the time they, for no reason, decided to not nuke the colony, that they knew you were on, from orbit.

2 is an alright game but anytime anything to do with the Collectors or Harbinger came up it fell apart.

_______________youre wrong lol_____________

...

Source?

Ryder.

Hmm, just doesn't sound right. Shepard sounds better.

The name sounds right for the inevitable mountain of porn we'll be getting.

You romanced best girl, right Sup Forums?

>Literally Michael Jackson with tits

Even as an Aussie I wouldn't touch her. Give me the blueberry buttcheeks any day over giant monster face.

>the reapears harvest races to turn them into reapers and gave them shapes similar to the race they are based on

Much better than "We kill you before mad AI would kill you" and "we all rook the same" of ME3

Nah. Just picked the default choice. Didn't really matter at the end anyways.

when do Li's ever matter

its for fun m8

Which one?

>>REMINDER IF YOU WENT WITH SOLDIER/LIARA LI YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM

My favorite moment in all of ME was in the Afterlife at Omega.

Not because of anything about Omega, but because I was filled with such hope after ME, and now there was so much more Mass Effect for me to enjoy and it looked so much better...

From that point on ME2 and subsequently ME3 were about the methodical erosion of my excitement about the series.

>so I'm kind of fond of Tali's in ME3

Fuck you for making me post this.

youtube.com/watch?v=0HWD3PFKCFc

i loved the party scene in 3

lol fucking retard

tali is fucking adorbs

will always romance her every time
will never ever romance anyone else

Never pirated the last dlc. Did buy the ME3s ending just killed the joy i had for the series. Leviathan was great for the lore, but that didn't really matter at the end.

Calibrations.

Of course.
>that renegade kiss

It also makes more sense than the space gypsy or Lisbeth Salander.

yeah she sure was a great squadmate in the first and third games

literally get cucked

Blame Bioware for disbanding our GOAT team before the fight with Reapers.

>if this was from a japanese game Sup Forums would praise it as the devs giving the fans what they want and as the devs being based

>adorbs
Fuck off faggot

fucking try and stop me cunt
